Tournament Ideas

First topic message reminder :

Ok as promised..
Here you can suggest a tournamnet idea which you think is good..but keep the followin points into consideration.
1- Check DA previous tournaments...We may have hosted it before.
2- Check ideas suggested before.
3- Make it reasonable please and don't just throw an idea based on banning decks.

How about Single copy tournament? As in, you can only have one copy of a given card in your deck. For added bonuses, maybe they aren't allowed to use cards that are restricted to 1 anyway, or required to have 60 cards in their deck. Could be interesting.

Edit: And for further insanity, you could forbid cards that search the deck, if you really wanted to go that far.

Ah, thank you. Suppose I should have looked through the old tournaments more thoroughly before posting.

Fire vs Water.

Rehost Edward's mirror tournament or w/e it was where Host gives deck skeleton and everyone gotta add their own techs and stuff then duel each other in mirror matches. Would be cool.

I might do that pretty soon.

Perhaps a tournament series where a week or so before the tournament starts, you give a set of deck parameters (Warrior monsters only, ten monsters, thirty spell and trap cards, etc) All participants have to make a deck within those parameters and that's the deck they compete with. All that's missing is a snappy name... hmm... Russian Roulette! No... hmm...

If this was summer we'd have hosted something similar; however, everyone has school now and having to be part of a team and regularly show up for tournaments as a team is a hard thing to coordinate.
