Tournament Ideas

First topic message reminder :

Ok as promised..
Here you can suggest a tournamnet idea which you think is good..but keep the followin points into consideration.
1- Check DA previous tournaments...We may have hosted it before.
2- Check ideas suggested before.
3- Make it reasonable please and don't just throw an idea based on banning decks.

owh c'mon! why dont you like it? It will be a hard duel, and you will win oly if you play the right cards at the right time. Its a better chance to improve in this kind of tournament....

here some ideas

The Battle of Weakness


-No banned,semilimited,limited cards.
-Each player make deck from monsters with 1 stars
-Allowed spells ( field,eguip only) ,no traps,no spells quick play....)
-Winner of match will choose 3 cards from looser's deck and add it to his deck
-each deck must contain max 3 type ( example : water and earth,wind;fire and wind,fiend.....)
- cards that canno't be destroyed by battle are forbidden
-play match 2/3
- syncro summon are allowed but in your extra deck you must have 1 syncron (that will be main) and if you summon him your opponent have 5 tourns to summon his syncro if he didnt make he lose first round.....(you can fix somethink if you want)

Its too boring in my oppinion banning spells and traps or multiple types of monsters in same deck and only level 1 thats not so good but i like the idea to take 3 cards from opp

what about like normalduel just winner take 3 card or less to his deck ???

Don't like it why add 3 cards from opp when he can add more couse the decks are made by him

One question Yugi have you hosted this tourny anywere else? if yes we don't know if you should host it we need EJ oppinion

no, i didnt host it in any where else.

Ok then since no other staff dissagrees you can host it but only after Mufc's finishes the highlander one

can we register at tournament now to make place for us?

Not now only after the tournament is posted with the rules and such

Don't wait. Go on since everyone waits for it.
Even if I've seen this idea like 4 times already.

why should we wait, Highlander is at it's quarter finals now so most ppl are already out of it
and it would be nice to have a tournament to start right after another is over :D

New idea , hope its fine

Rules:
1. each group will starts with 9 points
2. when you win a duel (single not match) your group win 1 point , when you lose a duel(single not match) your group lose 1 point
3. you must duel at lest once each 2 days or you will be DQed.
4. only top 4 Groups will go to the next round.
5. prove your win/lose with a screenshot , confirm here.
6. it will be groups duels , not random (Ex: Group1 vs Group2)
7: each group will have 3 members ONLY
8: each duelist can lose twice only, if you lost 3 times you will be DQed.
9: each member allowed to duel 3 duels (MAX) for round one at lest

-there will be 13 group in this tournament in total.


Decks Rules:
Banned Decks: BW (you can use gale).GB.LS.X-Sabers.OTK.FTK.Mill.Stall.Burn.
Banned Cards: LaDD.DAD.Tragedia.

no one reply on my pervious idea , so here is a fresh one

Rules:
1. You will start with 4000 LP
2. It will be Single duels
3. Each member will duel 3 times against defferent opponents
4. You must win 2 from 3 duels at lest to stay in this tournament
5. You must be able to use hamachi and have some time online EVERY DAY
6. Follow the Ban List:
- Card Banned: TreebornFrog , Caius , Ryko (Any card that inflict Damage to your opponent LP is Forbidden)
- Decks Banned: LS , BW (gale allowed), GB , X-Sabers , OTK , FTK , Exodia , Burn , Stall , Mill



So, can i host it ?

You should have posted it in staff discussions i like it
exept the banning thing ban certain cards not decks just exodia and ccards that can inflict damage

i will host it then and i will change rules little bit.

An OTK tournament would be boring.

Why don't we make a battle of the elements tournament were everyone will use a deck with a element he chooses, he must have monsters with that element only excluding the Extra Deck. Also there will be a limit of the Duelist with the same Attribute, let's say....3

Wasn't there something with elements before ? but i agree on that and if you win you can mix your atribute with your opp one

Hmm nice idea but only if you want to do so

Thats why i said you can and no other special rules he can use any amount of atributes after he wins them

What about only meta tournament?

Tournament - Dragons vs Warriors

Warrior Team [can play only with warrior-type monsters]
16 ppls
vs
Dragon Team [can play only with dragon-type monsters]
16 ppls

Can use 1 Ban Card and 3 Semi-Limited/Limited

FE or PX Format i guess.

Dragons overcome warriors in my oppinion and only those atributes don'tt like it
