Another thing to add is that the monster boosted by Honest doesn't get to attack after SD/AM negates Honest because a replay cannot occur during the Damage Step. A replay can occur only during the Battle Step when the number of the attacking player's opponent changes. What KratoS stated is about Spell Speeds something explained elaborately in the Official Rulebook.

"Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode"'s effect is classified as Spell Speed 2, meaning that it CAN chain to "Honest" who is also Spell Speed 2. It CANNOT however, chain to Counter Trap cards as they are Spell Speed 3. A card with Spell Speed 2 or above can chain to anything equal to or lower than its own Spell Speed. However, cards with Spell Speed 1, such as Ignition effects, can never chain itself, but it can be chained to.
