Skill Drain vs Spore

is skill drain in in the field and the spore is special summoned by his eff what level will have spore?
i asked to amy and she says still level 1
many peoples say that but my opponent says anothers

Spore's special summoning activates in the graveyard so it wouldn't be effected by Skill Drain until it hits the field.
The level increasing effect will be negated because of Skill Drain, but the special summon with be resolved.

Spore is Special Summoned with its Level already increased by the Level of the removed monster.[1]
Why does it actually return to 1?
