Red-Eyes archetype is already so big that they don't know what they're giving to them. They have so many directions and ways of playing and yet they get completly new techs and stuff.

Sure, the archetype is "somewhat" muddled, but some of this stuff is pretty good, the synergy between black metal dragon and Gearfried especially. not to mention the Trap is something the deck has needed for a long time, searchable disruption. It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Nobody said the cards are not good nor archetype is bad. In fact, I quite like them even though I've never played them. 
But it would be 10x better if Konami released or announced support for some other old Archetype or perhaps to introduce something new rather than going somewhere trough mist...
