I'm going to reply so that people are a little more educated about their decision, rather than just knowing the "credentials" of each system. I'm relatively close-knit with all the communities surrounding these alternative duel systems (except Duel Monster Genesis).
I'll elaborate the following, as they're important for deciding:
--General Community/Fanbase
--How often cards are updated (this includes bug fixes)
--General sensibility of the staff
--Performance, Customization, ReliabilityDevPro1) This is the place where all the DN players went after DN received its C&D Order.1a) As such, this has the largest "fanbase", and the most activity. We can duel easily here, on our own accord, because we'll have thousands of players to try with.
1b) The cancerous retardation that permeated DN has shifted over to DevPro. It's a very unwelcoming community2) Updates happen only on Sundays. That means it only adds cards once a week, and only does bug fixes once a week. If there's a serious problem that is affecting one of our tournaments, none of our complaints will be answered until the next Sunday.3) The staff is utterly incompetent.4) DevPro is the has most customization options built into their EXE. However, if you understand how it reads card images, you can change the textures by simply altering the art within their respective folders. DevPro is also relatively unreliable in terms of stability. Due to the massive influx of new players, the server sometimes crashes. This is most notable in games.4a) No, really. Their biggest bug issues is their inability to complete Matches properly half the time. This could be detrimental to our tournaments.PercyPro (OG YGOPRO)
1) This community is significantly smaller than DevPro, but many DN players did bleed into this area. However, unlike Devpro (where you have to log into the chat, or the EXE boots you for inactivity), you can utterly avoid that community like the plague.
2) Updates happen every day. Sometimes every other hour. They have an open source system, so any player can mess around with the EXE to update and fix card bugs.
2a) PERCY RUNS ON OCG RULINGS ONLY!!!!
3) As such, since it's open source, there really isn't any "staff". It's just people who watch the chats, and prevent people from purposefully fucking up card rulings. They're pretty good at their job.
4) Has far less built-in customization options than DevPro... However, as stated before, you can "change the textures by simply altering the art within their respective folders."YGOPro SalvationYes, this is an alternative option
1) Community is really small. But it's not cancerous like DevPro. We can set up shop here and be relatively unbothered by moronic antics that come with people who think MST negate.
2) Updates happen almost every day. And bug fixes come in as fast as the player base points them out.
3) Staff is actually competent.
4) Same amount of customization as Percy. However, it is relatively unreliable in terms of stability. AccessDenied likes to try new options every now and then, and usually ends up screwing things out.
