So lets say i have a dark monster, and my opponent attacks me, and i use Dark Spirit art, and draw two cards. Is my opponents attack negated? or not?

No, it causes a Reply to happen which means if you do not have another monster on the field your opponent's monsters gets to attack you directly or if you have a monster they can attack that monster or if it has higher atk points not attack it.

Ohhh so if i have a weak dark monster, and another strong monster, and he attacks the dark one, i can tribute him and not loose LP, nice.

There is still the option of them negating the card effect by revealing a spell card in which case you do not draw cards but you still tribute the monster as a cost and the Reply still occurs.

It's a pretty risky card, unless you're sure the opponent doesn't have a spell card up his sleeve.
