But the video said that generic +1's that fit into all decks still exist: PoA, Card Car D; etc.
I personally wouldn't care about it coming back.
The examples given in video are not free +1's. They all have some form of condition attached to them.
PoA requires you to have 5 monsters in the grave, and you have to return them to the deck, which maybe you want to do, maybe you don't. It's capable of being a dead draw in the beginning of the duel.
Cardcar D requires you to use up your Normal Summon for the turn AND ends your turn immediately so that you can't take immediate advantage of the +1 you obtained.
If you want other generic +1's with 0 drawbacks or conditions, look to cards like Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster, both of which are also banned because they have no drawbacks or conditions and can give large amounts of card advantage for free. This is also why Heavy Storm was banned for a time, although Konami eventually decided that the draw back for that card was having to adapt your play around it (not letting you set s/t cards before using it) or requiring you to destroy your own s/t cards. Still, even for that card they've been wishy washy on whether or not to have it at 1 or banned.
That's the issue here. Guy in videos is making arguments that use very poor logic in an attempt to force his opinion to be the correct one. Any decent debater can see through his incohesive reasoning.
