Why would he need reckless greed while he has card of safe return.

Because, you cant count on drawing Card of safe return as simple as that, as KCVDS is missing many cards such as Allure of darkness and mezuki, so you have to speed things up a bit through deck thining and constant drawing, so using Reckless greed and/or upstart goblin is very common

Why upstart goblin then? Your opp gets 1000 LP and you draw one card jar of greed is better.

Jar Of Greed is a trap and Upstart Goblin is a spell , Jar Of Greed can be a dead card againts Jinzo or Royal Decree or when you are in a bad mode so you'll get to set it abd your opponent will probably finish you before you draw that 1 card

But upstart goblin gives your opponent an advanatage.

LMAO! using 1 of each one has no sense specially Reckless Greed , Upstart Goblin doesn't give the advantage more lp to your opponent won't change much as long you can draw what you need faster you'll be able to decrase him what you gave him and more stop commenting if you don't have something useful

Exactly and this applies especially too a zombie deck, as you will take cotnrol of the duel very quickly so 1000 lp is nothing compared to the swarm of zombies that will be on the field, rather than focusing on LP all the time, what should be focused is what is in your hand and on the field as Lp is written in stone and has a simple flow of increasing and decreasing, the changing of the field and hand is ever constant
