effect veiler vs ally of justice catastor

hey guys i was wondering if effect veiler works on catastor because at regionals last week a judge said that catastor cannot be negated by effect veiler witch i dont understand

Depends when you use it, Effect Veiler can only be used during your oppenants Main Phase. No other time.


Catastor should be effected if you used Veiler correctly.

When your opponent declares that he ends his main phase and wants to enter his battle phase you can drop Effect Veiler and negate Catastor's effect then your opponent is forced back into his main phase and chooses to proceed or not.
