Magic: The Gathering. Gatecrash is coming! Gatecrash-tablet-of-the-guilds

Gatecrash is a new set coming out in Magic: the Gathering that builds upon the fight for guild control in Ravnica. A throwback to older archetypes, Gatecrash is going to be an exciting expansion for the Ravnica block in Standard, changing the metagame significantly for both Standard and Modern formats. With new mechanic like Extort, which allows you to siphon your opponents life when you cast a spell; Cipher, which allows to to Encode a target creature to make a copy of the spell you Encoded to that creature when it deals damage to a player for no casting cost; Bloodrush, which is comparable to Kalut, Honest, or Gem-Merchant; Battalion, which gives creatures you control a power and toughness boost when they attack together, as opposed to Exalted, which gives you a smaller boost for attacking with a single creature; and Evolve, which gives your creatures a boost when you put another creature onto the battlefield under your control when either its power or toughness are higher than any of the pre-existing creatures, Gatecrash is going to bring a lot of exciting, new aspects to the game, along with the new Guild Leaders, new Shock Lands and Gates, and along with a lot of new color support cards as well.

Just like in my Return to Ravnica thread, I'll be posting more decklists and their synopsis' when Gatecrash is released, but hopefully will post more decks, and hopefully weekly. I got caught up last time in providing a large variety of decks because of lack of time, but we'll see.

Thanks for reading.
