Magic: The Gathering TezzeretAgentofBolas

I saw that there was no MTG thread, so I'm making the first since I play this game.

This is the Wizards of the Coast official site (WotC):
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Summoner/
They made Dungeons and Dragons, and MTG is one of the most played, non-poker based card games globally,

If any of you are interested in getting started, here's a link to a free downloadable software that will allow you to play. http://cockatrice.de/index.php?a=download

Link to a downloadable demo from the official site to get started on the basics. https://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/NewtoMagic.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/newtomagic/learntoplay

Another link to the comprehensive rule book. This rulebook will be able to answer any mechanic based question you have, and are organized accordingly by section.

A link to a beginners rulebook.

For those of you who already play, feel free to mention what format you play, history, decks, ect.

DN is the only card site of it's kind (aside from the bad Pokemon website that allows you to play, but you need codes from card packs). MTG does not have a browser based website, but just like free downloadable YGO software (YVD, YGOPRO, ect), MTG has Cockatrice and a few others as well. I linked Cockatrice since it's the most reliable, and free to use.
