Sangan XYZ

I One this it is a yes..but ..let's hear it ...

We all seen *i did it once* the tour guide+sangan xyz summon in which we detach sangan first to get his effect..When i used it the other dude sayd it cannot activate...and we waited 10 mins for an admin and we both setteled for a draw...Now i want to ask you guys...Does sangan activate if you do this ?

I want to know so i won't do it again..checked netterp but nothing about xyz's in the rulings.

he used to be able to do it here in america but konami changed the XYZ rullings so now he cant search
