Now what's something what we need to clear about this tournament is the card effects. Let's take The Egyptian God Cards for an example. In anime, they can't be controlled by your opponent and got few more OP effects. Ra can be revived by Monster Reborn then go to Phoenix/Invicinble mode.
There is few more examples, but if we are hosting this tournament we need good and experience with old fashion decks to play it.
Ummm, to be honest, the anime effects of most cards will give a lot of ruling problems. I suggest if you going to use their effect in the original series, only make Ra, Obelisk and Osiris like that.
Just in case, the original described effects of the 3 cards in questions are like this:* Osiris and Obelisk cannot be affected by "Control Changing effects."
* Ra's control on the field only follows the one that can read out the correct hieratic-text. Otherwise it stays at 0 ATK and in "Sphere Mode" on the field.
* All 3 cards are unaffected by other monsters' effects and trap effects, and are only affected by spell cards effects by one turn. (Even in graveyard) For that reason, Ra is sent to graveyard the turn it's "Monster Reborn"ed. However, this is not the way how TCG or OCG works. Therefore, this rule is going to be confusing.....
* Obelisk can tribute 2 monsters and make its ATK to "Infinite" or destroy all monsters your opponent control. That is another effect that can cause confusion.
* Ra is unaffected by all special effects that the other 2 cards activated, though all of them are suppose to be "unaffected" by monster effects. Also, for whatever reason, Obelisk and Osiris's effects can be affected by each other.
* When tribute summoned, Ra gains ATK equals to all 3 of his tributes. When special summoned, Ra either gains the amount of Lp you choose to paid or monsters that you tribute for its ATK boost.
.....there are more by let's just leave it like that, I personally thinking pulling the anime effects into this is simply not workable. Though, it's up to others' decision to decide. More like, we didn't even get a judgment to pass this tournament or not by DDS yet...
