Concept Tournament #5 (Round 1)

● Concept Tournaments use a Swiss Round system. At the end of the last Swiss Round a Top 4 will be chosen. If there are only 8 players, the Top 3 will be chosen via the final scores of Challonge!

● During the start of each Swiss Round a Summon Type (i.e Fusion, Synchro, Xyz) will be declared. During that Round, you must only use monsters of the declared Summon Type in your Extra Deck. Your Main Deck must follow the Recipe Concept.

● The Recipe Concept dictates the way you build your deck. You are only allowed to use cards featured in the Recipe Concept. Sometimes a Recipe Concept will feature Monsters only; meaning that you can use any Spell/Trap cards that you want.

● Special Guest Cards are cards declared at the start of each Swiss Round. They usually don't follow the Recipe Concept nor the Summon Type but you are allowed to use them in your deck. You are only allowed to use 1 copy of each Special Guest Card.

Concept Tournament Rules:

1) Swiss Tournament; Match Duels. Rounds To Be Decided - Depending on the number of players.

2) All duels are TCG+OCG. The Banlist is TCG April 2015.

3) A Disconnection is a round-loss unless you have a clear field advantage. Will also be evaluated by the host.

4) For every Summon Type you must use cards from the Recipe Concept. You can mix more than one Archetype featured in the same Round.

5) If a Recipe Concept doesn't affect Spell and Trap cards in a Round you can use whatever Spell\Trap card you want. You cannot build an alternate win condition deck.

6) If you see your opponent using different monster cards, take a screenshot leave the duel then contact me with the picture.

7) You cannot use a Side Deck.

Summon Type: Xyz and Tribute Summoning
Recipe Concept You can only use monsters from the Machina, Gimmick Puppet, Super Defense Robot, Steelswarm, Vassal and Monarch archetypes. You can only use ANY Rank 8 or higher Xyz monsters in your Exta Deck. This Recipe Concept doesn't affect your Spell and Trap cards.
Special Guest Cards: Gearspring Spirit, Treeborn Frog, Majiosheldon, Armageddon Knight, Stygian Streel Patrol and Dark Armed Dragon.

Recipe Concept: ●You can only use cards that belong to the following sub-archetypes (this also includes your Spell and Trap cards):Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes archetypes.
●Legendary Dragon and Legendary Knights (Hermos, Critias, Timaeus)
●You can use Mirror Force, Crush Card Virus and Tyrant Wing.
●You can use a maximum of 3 Warrior-Type monsters in your deck.
