The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode

Cannot be Special Summoned. Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon to your side of the field, or 3 Tributes of your opponent’s monsters to Normal Summon to your opponent’s side of the field. The control of this Normal Summoned card is returned to its original owner at the End Phase of next turn. (1) Cannot attack, and cannot be targeted for an attack or by an opponent’s card effect. (2) You can Tribute this card: Special Summon 1 “The Winged Dragon of Ra” from your hand or Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions, but its ATK and DEF each become 4000.

I LOVE IT. Tribute 3 of my opponents monsters, bring out a 4k beater Ra with life points to spare for Ra's monster destruction effect. <3

dangit, they fixed the only thing wrong with ra, and they made his other mode into a hyped-up lava golem..............crap

I wonder if Phoenix Ra will be released sooner or later as well.

They told Ra he is shit at being a God Card, so he became a LoL champion.

At first i was like since you dont get it back for a full turn the opponent has plenty of options to get rid of it. But then i was like owners seal/remove brainwashing or even something like creature swap gets ra out immediately.

Remove Brain Washing.dek.

Well really the only things they can get rid of it with on their turn is torrential, dank hole, or tributing it. (The other ways are unlikely)

But no effect stating what that question mark is has been given.

There must be more to come here? Otherwise it would just be 0 attack and defense.






Also, consider that if this card is actually quite good, that you might get both players in a duel using it. Meaning that your opponent may be able to summon ra with your sphere.

It will have 0 on the field... Also Horakhty was the first whose ATK was ? without a calculating method.

[?] stands for "We haven't been able to attain precise information from KONAMI about this cards attack/deffence" on Japanesse.

Not that bad of an effect can use them with froggies

Summon this to your opponents side of the field,
Creature swap it to your side of the field,
Use effect to Summon Golden chicken from deck.

Send it to the grave somehow, with burial for example. Use phantom of chaos: tribute it and get a free 4K chick easy

Coming to the OCG on June 6th and the TCG on June 19th in Duelist Pack: Battle City.

So this may make Mega Ultra Chicken a bit more viable. Luna is seeing this working rather nicely with Owner's Seal or Remove Brainwashing.

Tribute three of your opponent's monsters to summon this, take back control of it with the above mentioned cards. Tribute to summon Mega Ultra Chicken while chanting, "Arise Chicken, Arise!" It's a shame that Mega Ultra Chicken lacks the immunities that Obelisk has. Still being able to tribute three of your opponent's monsters and get out a Mega Ultra Chicken is pretty good in Luna's opinion. Probably won't make any impact on the meta, but it is pretty nice.

Mega Ultra Egg? I could see nasty things be done with this, primarily some phantom of chaos OTK... I must go ponder with my thoughts.
