Vanity's Quiz #1

Hi everyone, today i bring you my quizzes, actually i made this one time time ago but i hope you enjoy!

This is the situation:

You know that your opponent has Mirror Force set; win in this turn.

Having worked through everything, the best I can do is 7900 and I doubt you can get any better than that. (Pretty sure you've made a mistake somewhere. Yes, not me. You. 90% sure you must have thought you could drop effect veiler in your own turn or something.)


Normal TGU. Special sangan with its effect.
Xyz into giga brilliant. Solemn judgment it.
Summon DAD.
Summon zephyros by returning dark armed dragon.
Summon abyss dweller. Detach zephyros.
Summon DAD again.
Summon BLS, banishing giga brilliant and sangan.
Fiendish chain maestro. Banish TGU with DAD to destroy it.
Destroy mirror force with DAD by banishing zephyros
BLS attacks tiras, deals 400.
BLS direct attacks for 3000.
DAD direct attacks for 2800.
Abyss direct attacks for 1700.
Total is 7900.



If you want to know the reasoning behind this being impossible:


Effect veiler is pointless as it can only be used in opponent's main phase. The inzektors are useless as the only way to get hornet to grave is by bouncing and summoning armageddon, meaning you can't normal an inzektor. This leaves TGU, BLS and DAD as the only usable cards, armageddon and zephyros aside. The only way to get 3 darks to grave is to use TGU for an Xyz summon and have it drop both of its materials somehow, and the only way to do that is to solemn it. The only light/dark Xyz choice is giga brilliant, a light, meaning the best course of action is to summon that and solemn it to end up with 3 darks and a light to grave. From there, you summon DAD, then to maximise damage you can Xyz with zephyros and arma then immediately detach. However, the rank 4 Xyz with the strongest attack that can just randomly detach available is abyss dweller, on a measly 1700. Then, you can DAD again, then BLS. 1 dark must be used for mirror force. Fiendish and the last DAD pop must be used on maestro, as you wouldn't be able to kill him in BP and you can only choose one of the two. From there, there are no more actions you can take besides all the attacking, which totals 7900.

Good job, but still now enough. You can win in this turn, i know is hard but you can. I've been playing competitive for years with some results so i know how cards works XD

Since its an inzektor deck I wanted to do the inzektor combo but it cant be really done properly.The only way to activate dragonfly for me was to fiendish chain maestroke bounce fiendish to hand to ss zeph.Xyz summon roach and solemn it leaving 3 darks in the grave.SS dad normal summon dragonfly.Equip dragonfly with cent banish armageddon knight for dad to destroy cent and get dragonfly eff am I on the right track or should I stop?

Use fiendish chain on maestroke
bounce chain with zeph to ss itself
overlay for roach.
activate solemn to destroy it leaving 3 darks in grave.
ss Dad and normal dragonfly.
equip cent from hand to dragonfly
banish arma with dad to destroy cent.

Ok so going from where it was left off:

Summon another cent with dragonfly eff.
equip 2nd cent with 1st cent.
banish roach with dad to destroy 1st cent.
use 2nd cent eff to get hornet to hand.
overlay 2nd cent and dragonfly for leviair.
banish 1st cent with dad to destroy mirror force.
Detach dragonfly from leviair to ss 1st cent.
use 1st cent to equip hornet.
send hornet to remove an overlay from maestroke.
eff of 1st cent adds gigamantis to hand.
eff gigamantis equips itself to 1st cent.
use dad to banish zeph and destroy gigamantis.
gigamantis eff ss dragonfly.
Dragonfly equips hornet
send hornet to remove another overlay from maestroke.
dragonfly ss 3rd cent.
3rd cent equips gigamantis to increase atk to 2400.
overlay 1st cent and dragonfly for gigabrilliant.
detach dragonfly to increase all monsters 300.
dad removes dragonfly to destroy gigabrilliant.
remove gigabrilliant and hornet to ss bls
remove 1st cent with dad to destroy maestroke.

Leaves opponent with only tiras and you with 3100 dad, 2100 leviair, 2700 cent and 3000 bls.

Bls atks tiras for 400 and direct attacks via eff, then all others atk.

400+3000+3100+2100+2700 if i did anything wrong let me know.

Yes wondeRy set it up perfect :D Kudos there because i would have had no clue how to start off. I have also never used inzektors (faced them plenty tho) and had to look up that gigamantis got an eff to ss from the grave when destroyed. Struggled for a while on how to possibly ss dragonfly. Overall was a great duel puzzle vanity. It would be awesome if you could make more in the future.

PS: just to make it perfectly clear to everyone i edited my first post to include steps from wondeRy's post. Hope that clears it up.

Brain is toasted for the moment. Ill give it a shot later if noone figures it out but im done for now.

Aha, didn't consider that you could get 3 darks to grave without using TGU. That would be the set of possibilities I didn't explore. Nice quiz.
