The last premier event of 2014 is almost around the corner starting this weekend (December 13/14)

The format is drawing to a close all the top decks are well defined and pretty evenly matched if the top 32 of YCS Milan is anything to go by.

Despite the fact that the 'Fire lake loop' is running at full force Daniele Stella won bringing Qliphoth to the event.

I feel like chaos shaddoll will win the event, considering you can build that to beat the other Tier 1 decks pretty easily.

So with being said what do you see happening at YCS Sydney?

Burning Abyss. It's well put together. Not only
does it make thing extremely hard to get up
with it's ridiculous amount of spot removal, it also
preys on most decks abilities to survive. Such as
spot removal itself. Sure, BA's can be countered
by cards such as 'Soul Drain' and 'Shadow Imprisoning Mirror'.
Still, even if it doesn't win, it sure will be coming second.
Lately, shaddolls have been more tier 1.5 than anything.
It's yugioh though, anything can happen....

I really don't care about stated Archetypes above, I'm sure on of it will top this. What I'm really interested is how will lower tiers play now :D

Right at the start of a format and right at the end are the best times for rouge players.. I didn't say it in the OP but.. I'm secretly hoping for a rogue win! : ;o

Zacth would be a good person to talk to about this event because he lives over there and should more about the meta over there. The meta is always slightly different in different countries.

BA topped in aninheim (USA )
Qli topped in Milan (ITA)
So maybe it's Shads time to shine or maybe even tellers could steal the event by sneaking in under the radar, but I would put my money on BA or Qli to top

Ojama = Tier 0! But on a serious note they are good against BA and Qli.
