Does mirror force negate attacks?

Well alot of people have played mirror force on me and they will not destroy their monster, because they think it negates the attack, well considering "Mirror Force" doesn't say anything about negating an attack, I think the monster should be destroyed, so does mirror force negate attacks or not?

Technically no, but Mirror Force destroys the monster before it attacks.

This is simple,of course that Mirror force destroys the monster before attack,because the effect of Mirror force says "when your opponent's monster declares an attack".
