Johan's Deck

Alright this is Johan's Deck as being told by nekofjung
He's using LS,pretty fast one with Decrees

As neko suggested...Epee,run 3 Roars,2/3 Wabokus so u stall enough for decking out..
However i've been thinkin all night and found that the best 2 options are : Stun, Dark Skill Drain,Macro

Dark Skill Drain : With dark skill drain u'd have enough draw engine for traps against LS and with SD and bit of luck you can win easily...

Stun : Oppressions,Rai-Oh,DoomCalibur,3x Breakers (to kick his decrees),Fossil Dyna,banisher of light/radiance,D.D WL....and you'll find you have pretty decent number of Light and dark monsters so you can try chaos sorcerer....that imo would be enough

Macro Monarchs: Yea why not,that might really really own him if you got good hand and if you avoided lyla

I think, rather than running Macro Monarchs, it would be much better to just run Stun that has Dimensional Fissure teched in 2's or 3's. So, just to emphasize, I don't think it so much matters what deck-type you're using, as long as you have the following in the deck:

3x Threatening Roar
3x Waboku
2-3x Dimensional Fissure
Heavy Storm
Mystical Space Typhoon
3x Breaker the Magical Warrior (to shut down his Decrees)
2x Light-Imprisoning Mirror

I think if you run those cards, then no matter what else you run you'll have enough LS hate to spank him easily. ^_^

but JD would stop all these so i'd also recommend Royal Oppression....looking for stall ?! why not Swords of revealing light...i suggest beside breaker to run banisher of radiance at 3...he'd rfg his mills
i'd remove 2 Dimensional Prison for 2 Oppression..

SoRL beaten too easily by Lyla and Celestia, it's not chainable, and general I would consider it a pretty worthless card, but meh can play it if you like it I guess. JD won't come out easily if you have Dimensional Fissure and Light-Imprisoning Mirror will stop him from clearing your field. Light-Imprisoning Mirror is also the reason I don't suggest running Banisher, since it would negate him. =/

you guys do releaise that if dimensional fissures on the field, lightsworn dont mill. it would basiclly interfer with my other strategys, so itd probably be a bad idea to run both. im more tempted now to just play him in the lightsworn mirror, thats my best deck and im pretty good in the mirror.

edit: i may also play dsd, though it failed me last time.

OH neko i thought u meant dimensional prison...lol anyway Epee played LS Mirror...and as usual his LS just owns in mirror duels :D

thanks ej! you know how mean i play lightsworn in the mirror . i figured it was my best shot, i had no time left and no other tested deck. i lost the first game to, but i beat him still thanks to my teched wabokus =)

you know the same way u beated johan is the way i always lose vs....i just forget ur extra gardna lol
