non fusion area and poly

i activate polymerization then my apponent activates non fusion area. is that sn illegal move. and if not what happens to my poly

Think about how chains work.

You use Poly and your opponent chains Non-Fusion Area.

Chains resolve backwards, so first Area and then Poly.

So Poly would resolve without an effect being activated.

So yes the move is legal.
