So, I'm sure you all heard that gamefreak was gonna make a worldwide live announcment this morning on Pokemon. Turns out they were announcing gen 6, just like I thought.

Oh my god, it looks so awesome. I didn't think they could make pokemon games look THAT much better!

Sadly it won't be out till October 13th.

The 3d animation just looks so awesome, the new legendary pokemon look awesome. The new way to encounter pokemon actually looks realistic, and apparently you can move around in more ways than just walking and running (the trailer showed the chars on roller skates, and swinging on ropes to get past obstacles).

The game looks nice. Legends look better too

Also, forgot to mention that these games are being released world wide at the same time. Which means USA gets them at the exact same time as Japan. That's gotta be a first.

I believe the X and Y represent chromosomes or somehting DNA related.

Also, we should've seen the next gen being named letters coming, since they named a char N.

I saw this and I want it but now I'll have to get a 3ds. The starters are... interesting. The grass one looks like a green Oshiwhat. I'll probably start with the fire or water type... as usual.

I'm picking Fennekin for sure. It's an adorable little fennec fox.

Yes Fennekin is really cute. Kind of reminds me of Vulpix/ Ninetais line. Froakie is another frog kind of cute too. They have to start being more original too because of the past 5 generations.

Just found out theres gonna be a new type, called the Saint type.

Aren't there already too many types? And I don't know if that was a good idea because of religion and there are too many types already.

According to more translations, Xerneas is a Steel/Saint type, and Yveltal is a fire/dark type.

Surprised Yveltal isnt a flying type, seeing as it is a bird.
