This Officer of the Law allows you to set up early game advantage, doing early game damage with other creatures and completely nullifying the usefulness of their creature for an entire turn. Can also be used for combos with cards like Cloudshift.

Whenever Stealer of Secrets deals combat damage to a player, draw a card.
A drop 3 with 2/2 base stats and the ability to maintain hand control throughout the game is essential. Drawing past the lands and getting straight to your creatures is what this card is all about, making sure that you never have to rely on a good top-deck like Supreme Verdict to sweep the field of Creatures giving you a hard time because she does it all for you. Also gives a boost to Champion of the Parish, a 1 drop White creature that gains power and toughness every time a Human Creature enters the Battlefield under your control.

Whenever Precinct Captain deals combat damage to a player, put a 1/1 white Soldier creature token onto the battlefield.
A 2/2 drop 2 white creature with First Strike and the ability to generate a token when dealing damage to a player. If successful, you don't have to worry about who to attack with and who not to - the token will do the work for you - and if you're already maintaining board advantage then the extra damage from the generated tokens is just reducing the time it takes to win. A solid card that takes advantage of the Detain mechanic.
Azorius Justiciar

(Until your next turn, those creatures can't attack or block and their activated abilities can't be activated.)
A card that really sets the tempo. Almost twice as good as its counterpart, Azorius Arrester, Azorius Justiciar makes sure you won't be taking any damage for the next turn, and better yet, is going to make all your creatures that much more useful, making Stealer of Secrets, Precinct Captain, and a few others unleash their full potential and make a push to win the game or set up a board that will and hand that is going to give you overwhelming advantage.
Moorland Haunt

WU, T: Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Put a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
Does the same thing as Precinct Captain: generates field control. When midgame field presence is extremely game-defying, Moorland Haunt puts your opponent in a position to defend and risk being hit by Detain or some other mechanic, giving you the opportunity to deal damage to the player, or waste some sort of resource to remove them from the field. Because it doesn't use up any hand resources, and because the deck doesn't take advantage of the Graveyard, Moorland Haunt is the perfect choice to put cards on the field that can either protect me or do damage over time where mana generators (i.e. Lands) are abundant

Although tapping creatures isn't as useful as Detaining them, this card serves the same purpose, and more. Being a cheaper Azorius Justiciar, this card gives me more Mana to do more things, as well as allowing me to do damage with Stealer of Secrets and Precinct Captain (and others not mentioned) to gain benefits on top of the initial damage done. Flashback and being an Instant are equally as useful. Being able to use this card defensively to prevent damage or Creatures that need to tap in order to activate their abilities can be extremely useful, and being able to be used during either players turn means that you get it's effect twice for one card, and at any time.
