I know that English is not my native language but "A rhetorical answer is a question..." really? I mean really???? hahah. Anyway, in my language they call it Rhetorical question, not answer though :D (I really hope you made a mistake there)
Rhetorical opinion - An opinion which does not matter to anyone, you just state it like you don't even exist on this planet. No body reads it, no body cares for it. In mathematical way: An opinion which is multiplied by zero. Yes, maybe its not a regular expression in English language but the ways how to joke are unlimited you know.
When I make (or want to make, do) something for DA, and then ask for other people opinions, inputs about the matter, I ask just because I am nice person, not because I care for what you have to say actually, you know, feudalism has no room for other people's thoughts.
I usually use it in this way:
1. I want to make for example Society of Light event.
2. I have it all in my head, already planned, already taken most things into account since I'm a smart person (I'm not cocky I just state the truth, I have the proofs on my papers lol) + I'm older than 99% of this community.
3. I open up a topic, tell few things about it and ask for opinions.
4. People state own opinions on the topic and suggest their own touches to my idea.
5. I multiply their inputs with zero.
6. What is left is my own opinion and then I say your rhetorical opinions do not matter.
7. People admire my way of running the "feudalism" in DA.
8. I'm winning.
