if we have 5 or less card in our hand?can we just thrash 1 to the grave.and then use monster reborn to summon it from grave?

i think it is off rule.but my opponent do it in duel network.
please help

No you can't.

The hand limit is 6, you can only discard that way IF you have 7 or more cards in your hand, you simply discard until you only have 6 cards left in your hand (During EP), However if you drew card(s) during the EP (End Phase) and you got more than 6 cards in your hand, you don't discard, since you drew during the EP.

no you cannot discard if you have less then 5 cards in hand unless its done by a card effect, but your opponet has to discrd if he gets 7 or more cards in hand at end phase

Only time you can discard from your hand without an effect is if you have 7 or more cards in your hand during the End Phase. Normal Spell cards like Monster Reborn can only be activated during the Main Phase.
