"uggghhh... why did you bother making me run down there if we were just going to run back anyway?" T_T
"Do you humans ALWAYS whine like this? Jeez. I made you run down there because I wanted to at least check it out."
"Easy for you to say. You're a dueling card!"
"And you're an incompetent Human. your point being?"
"... forget it."
-sees people in the distance, looks like a group of people-
"Hiya guys, what are you up to?"
Nerd: -sniffles, wipes glasses- "We came to the Math club meeting, I know they said it'd be special, but I didn't think it'd be a trip to the docks!"
"I didn't know they did field trips."
Nerd: "We found these papers all around the campus that says 'Numbers, Docks', so I assumed it was for us. I mean, someone like YOU wouldn't be interested in Numbers right?"
"Well... not in the way you're thinking anyway."
Nerd: -weird look- "Whatever weirdo." -sniffles, wipes glasses- "Lets go guys!"
-they make their way to the docks-
"I take it back. You're not the most ignorant human on this rock. In any case, lets get a move on."

After Mimgrim got the information he needed from animals he flew back to the place he hid his duel disks and decks and shape shifted back into human form. He went to press the knob and the secret hiding place opened up in the tree reaviling his duel disks and deck boxes. He picks them up and equips them again and starts to head back toawrds the slifer red dorm.

Location: Docks
Character: Atlas Kumari
Post: Damn him... Damn him, damn him, DAMN HIM! More than anything else, Atlas hated feeling impotent. Running from a duel made him want to tear his hair out; he had settled for tearing at his chest, leaving a barely visible splotches on his robe. Having swum back inland, Atlas was adamant to destroy the next Number Duelist he came across. He sensed no Numbers in a nearby group of students who had assembled by the docks for some reason, but, in his rage, he had felt Atlanthal's hunger grow. Damn it, where are those Number Duelists!?
Calming down for a brief moment, Atlas began his back-up plan. If the Number Duelists will not come to me, I shall find them! Atlas walked past the group and straight to the Courtyard. There is still time in the day, Atlanthal.

So what did you find out? askd dark mist after Mimgrim closed the door to his room.

"Eh not as much as i would like but some of it was usefull, at least one of the people that has gotten a number has been possesed."

Anything else?

"Hmmmmm well quite a few people here have already gotten numbers."

Well then if thats all you were able to get......then do you know at least where this possesed duelist is?

"Only that he's some where in slifer dorm but intill he reveals himself or herself we no idea which dorm room hes in."

Lets goto the main building.

"Why do ou want to goto the main building?"

I sense that an ally is over there.

"Well ok then i got nothing better to do, other then sitting here waitng which is so much fun, anyway."

Humph figures you would never change.

"Come on am i the changing type?" Mimgrim then leaves his rooms and head for the main building

Location: In front of DA main building
"Well. That got us nowhere."
"Indeed, it was a blunt waste of our time. Time is precious at this point."
"Jesus, are you ever relaxed?"
"Only when the fate of two worlds don't hang in the balance and the only way to save them is to pair up with a HUMAN to achieve what I need done."
-sigh-
"Listen Human. There are many people with Numbers. but there are even more that are without. Their lives and yours are all dependant on us getting those Number cards."
"Like I could forget."
"Hmmm... We'll have to search the entire island to find these damned things."
"UGGGH, did I neglect to mention I hate running?"
"You did. Repeatedly. Each time more annoying than the next. Lets go."
-sigh-
-walks off in random direction-

Location: Nearby Volcano
Character: John/Utopia
Post: I think we need to go.
"Oh cmon Lokos we have more than half day lets find some caves!" - John said and looked around. - "Oh thats you..." - Speaker wasnt Lokos it was Utopia. - "Why we need to go?"
Well we need to fight posessed duelists. Also i think something is going to happen soon.
"Yeah but you said here is only one posessed duelist and we cannot find him right now. Also if really there is going to happen something move me there like last time. I want to find some caves. I heared in this volcano happened big things some days."
Umm ok...

Location: Courtyard
Character: Atlas Kumari
Post: Finally getting his bearings, Atlas focus on the sense that Number Duelists triggered, but to no avail. Damn these Number Duelists... so hard to find. Perhaps if I get a better vantage point...
Figuring that the rooftop would have higher security after his little stunt that morning, Atlas opted to head to a higher, albeit farther away area: the Mountains. Mid way between the mountains and the forest, he sensed two auras simultaneously. Overcome by the hatred at the impotence he felt from the docks, Atlas tossed logic out and shouted at the top of his lungs,
"NUMBER DUELIST! COME OUT AND DUEL!"
After a few moments of panting, Atlas composed himself. Hmph. I let my emotions get the better of me. I suppose all that is left is to see if my error succeeded.

Location: forest path

Character: judai/ crimson ninja

Small puffs of dirt kicked up as Judai ran on the small forest path,
"I don't know what the deal is with all these number cards, but if it means every one on this island is in danger because of them I'll have to act quickly and find all of them." Judai said seemingly to himself as he dashed to the exit of the forest path.

"Now where did you say you sensed them again?" Judai said as crimson ninja appeared from his deck box.

There are 2 cards that i sense are near us. One is about a kilometer away and the other is only half a kilometer. How ever both are headed to the main building I estimate they will arrive in under 10 minutes. The crimson ninja said while floating behind judai.

But as I said before judai.... We should group up with the other heroes before we try to take on the chaos... It's just too dangerous to take them on alone.

"That's exactly my point, it's dangerous!" Judai snapped. "... I'm sorry i yelled at you... But I have to do this alone... I've already hurt too many people and endangered many of my friends during my stay on this island, and i can't let that happen to any one else because of me."He said looking down remembering all the trails he's been through at this academy. "You can understand the way i feel" Judai said turning to the ninja. "Can't you?"

The ninja stared at judai for a moment.

.... Yes, understood, but know this judai just as the fate of our two worlds are linked, yours and mine are as well. So where ever you go or what you decide to do... I shall be there by your side.

"Heh, right." Judai said with a smirk "We're stuck with each other." He said as they burst through the darkness of the forest and into the light of the main building of duel academy.

Post= mike is hunting down someone to duel him before the full moon and find number 34 terror bite so far he did not found noone to duel him and it bad time the full moon came out and mike run to a cave to turn into a werewolf.

"Someone just screamed! He knows I'm here!"

Siegfried's beast spirits looked upset, as the number 34 flared up on their master's right shoulder. Nervous as the pain grew stronger, Siegfried had no choice but to get up and leave the area. He had to find the nearest Number Duelist and defeat him.

"This monster has been asking for Number cards. There just has to be one nearby", he thought as he rushed towards the exit of the woods.

And just before he made his exit, he came across another person. A Duelist, Siegfried thought. His theory was confirmed, as he spots the Number 6 light up on the newcomer.

"Hey! Are you the guy who yelled not so long ago?!"

With his beast spirits by his side, Siegfried's confidence grew. He looked at the Duelist, and gives him a thumb down.

"I accept. Just name the time and the place!"

Post: Finally, after all of this time... "Right here, right now, Number Duelist! Duel!"

Tagiru was very happy that he finally had his head on straight and was heading for the main building, he could not wait to go and get some food and make his belly full again. "Ahh, luckily all the food is free for being a student! Awesome!" He said, walking several dozen yards more till he heard some rustling in the bushes. Tagiru looked over, bracing himself and then moving closer towards the rustling.

"Show yourself! you cannot hide from me! Come here monster! YAH!!"

Tagiru lunged forward, only to see not any bear or monkey, but a regular sized human with a rounded brown haircut in a slifer red blazer wearing a red duel disk similar to his own. He grinted his teeth trying to stop his lunge forward, and managed to side jump to the side right into a tree, head first. He fell to the ground and rubbed his head. His extra deck had opened up on impact, as his Number 32;MArine Biting Dragon-Shark Drake had fallen out in plain view.

"Ouch ouch...man! I thought you were a bear or something, my bad sir."

Tagiru said calmly, standing back up and dusting himself off, finally noticing his dropped card and picking it up. He put it back into his deck, and then looked at the man more closely, and then wide eyed a bit.

"Y-y-y-y-yyour Jaden Yuki!! Oh man, your like the hero of all freshmans like me!"

Post: "Hahahahaha! No. 34 is mine!" Atlas looked at his newly obtained Number and laughed. I can feel Atlantis rising already. Who's next?!
Atlas looked inward, away from the fallen Siegfried. Noon... They should be eating now. The Cafeteria may hold another Number...
Atlas placed Number 34 into his Extra Deck and headed off to the Cafeteria. Atlanthal... what new power do we have with this new Number?

It was a hard fought battle. Number 6 was a tough opponent, but Terror-Byte could withstand its attacks. But it was an unexpected move that cost Siegfried the duel, and loses his Number card in the process.

"No....how could I....lose....?"

Falling to the ground, tired of taking so many direct attacks, the young duelist rests while his beasts stood in front of him, in a valiant but fruitless effort to protect him from any harm.

EDIT: Oh, he's Number 34, btw.

Location: Volcano/Forest
Character: John/Utopia
Post: 'Oh man i am looking for those caves almost an hour but i cant find them' - John thought. - 'Wait... Is that a cave?' - John found some cave. - "Yay! At least i fou..." - John said loudly when suddenly everything became white and he was standing in forest long away from volcano. - "Utopia why did you do that?!" - John knowed what exactly happened.
Something happened over here. But i think we are too late.... - Answered Utopia.
"What do you mean?" - John was interested and started to look around. He found some duelist laying on the ground. - "Hey are you ok? What happened?"

Location: Lost in forest
"Something is wrong."
"What's that Illumiknight?"
"I felt the presence I felt at the docks grow... more powerful."
"Wait... you actually sensed him at the docks? Why didn't you tell me?!?"
"The Strength was not powerful enough to be note-worthy, nor would I have been able to find him with the strength being so low. Until now."
"Oh lovely. now he probably senses us and is hunting us down as we speak!?!"
"It seems to me he intends to gather all the weaker strengths around the island until he is unstoppable. We must hurry and get our hands on some more Number cards."
-sigh- "No pressure ehh?"
"The fate of two worlds and millions of species is in your hands. MUCH pressure intended."
"You really need to get a sense of humor that doesn't involve just insulting me... Sarcasm is a nice thing to learn too."
"Who needs sarcasm when I can just point out and mock you for your overly-obvious flaws?"
"... This is going to be a loooooong day..."
-continues walking-

Wait soemthing has happened.

"Really? What?" whispered Mimgrim so only dark mist could hear him'

I am not 100% sure but I think some one has lost their number to someone.

"Hmmmmm if thats the case we have to be more careful." Mimgrim looks around deciding on where to go next, he then realizes how hungry he is and decides to head to the cafeteria.

It was a sight like no other.

Vergil had been working on one of his many decks when the lights in his room began to flicker and then quickly go out. Before he could question what was going on, a bright light appeared before him blinding him temporarily.

"What the hell..." he would exclaim

Do not fret young duelist. I am not here to hurt you... a voice would speak in his head.

"Who... what are you?" Vergil would question the voice speaking in his head

My name is Shock Master. I am known to your kind as a Number monster. I come from a distant galaxy in search of someone who can help me save our world. That's where you come in child.

"You want me to help you? How can I do that?"

You can help me by obtaining other Number cards. The more we get the easier it will be to harness our power and save our world. So, will you help me Vergil?

"Of course! If it means that your world will be saved, how can I say no?" Vergil would say with a big grin on his face.

That is good to hear. Thank you Vergil. Shock Master would say thankfully.

In that moment the bright would fly into the deck that Vegil had been working on and disappear into it. The deck would glow bright yellow for a second. The lights would come back and everything would seem normal, but Vergil knew better. Reaching for the deck he would draw the first card and flip it towards. There it was: Number 16: Shock Master.

Vergil would grab his decks and put them in their respect holsters on his belt. Grabbing his Slifer Red jacket, he would quickly run out the door and towards the Duel Academy Courtyard.

"I wont let you down, friend."

Location: Duel Academy - Infirmary

Amelia opened her eyes, revealing a pair of emerald green orbs, staring at the ceiling as she finds herself lying on a bed. Her eyes stared into the light, spacing out as her breathing was soft and slow.

'..And how did I even get here, I wonder..'

Flashback ~ A Day Ago ~ Duel Academy - Battle Arena

Amelia pondered into the area as she was wandered around the Duel Academy to ease her boredom and find an isolated place to relax. Oddly, the Battle Arena was empty by the time she entered the large room surrounded by Dueling arenas and seats, and sighed.

"Odd.."

Eventually, a flash of light appeared within the center of the stadium, causing the green-haired girl to immediately become curious and follow it. Eventually, she walked towards the source, finding a flashing blank card on the ground and held her hand over it to pick it up. The card began to regain its colors, turning black to reveal that it was an XYZ monster, but its text was strangely worded, unlike the other XYZ monsters that she knew of.

"...Number...39...Utopia?"

Amy slowly read the card's name, suddenly feeling a joint of pain coming from her left shoulder plate, as if something was beginning to burn into her skin. Her right hand had been placed by the area, closing her eyes to ease the pain, which had suddenly stopped afterwards. She looked back at the card, realizing that the image on the card had appeared, so she stared at it for awhile. However, a voice began to echo within her thoughts, as a faint silhouette floated in front of the girl.

"Child of man.. It appears that you were destined."

Amy widened her eyes at the sight of the armored spirit, as if it were just an illusion that it'd appear in front of her. She was confused by being 'destined' for something, but its way of speaking made it sound like it wasn't just an illusion. The being had then summoned its large sword and pointed it at her, straight at her chest.

"However, your strength must be measured, to determine your worthiness of having myself as serve you.."

"Wait, wha-?"

The Duel Monster held its weapon in front of her, suddenly piercing through her chest, leaving Amy to be completely shocked. Her energy was being sapped from her body, though blood wasn't shed by the sudden attack. The blade was then released from her, leaving the armored being to hum as she dropped onto the ground unconscious with her Duel Disk still attached.

"Your strength.. It is nor strong or weak, but your resolve is what allows you to continue on... Very well, child, I shall serve you to grant it."

That was when the card had floated and flew into Amy's Extra Deck.

Amy sighed as kept herself lying on the bed, feeling exhausted from what happened a day ago. Her eyes had turned to focus on her Duel Disk, which was sitting on top of a small table by the bed. She didn't feel so well, after being stabbed, though there was no wound that appeared on her chest.

"..What the hell was all that about.."

"Admit it."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"NO!"
"No."
"Yes. -WAIT! NO!"
"Ha! Got you to admit it. We are lost."
"Hush-up. I know where I'm going."
"And where's that?"
"... that way."
"Which leads to...?"
"That place."
"Which is?"
"That place next to that other place."
-sigh- "You're hopeless. We will need alot of luck if we're going to even get home, let alone get our hands on another Number card..."

Location: Cafeteria
Character: Atlas Kumari
Post: The joy of gaining an new Number quickly was overshadowed by the hatred of loss. Damn it... Even with Nos. 34... Atlanthal, we need more prey. Heading to the nearest lavatory, Atlas pulled out a sharp stone he had found when he woke up from his slumber and carved into the wall of a stall:
Subtle enough that only Number Duelists will know, and blunt enough that even these apes can figure it out. After rest, I shall see the responses.
Atlas walked off to the Docks to his makeshift hut once more to sleep.

Location:Forest (still lost T_T)
"UGGGGh.... I'm beginning to hate having to walk more than I hate to run..."
"I don't believe it."
"Whaaaaat?"
"You've become even MORE annoying. I hope you realized that you've walked in a circle for four straight hours right?"
"What makes you say that?"
See that tree? with the broken limb and nearly fallen over?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"I've spotted that same tree five times in the past three hours. I noticed after about a half an hour into our aimless wandering, and waited to see how long you'd keep walking in this idiotic circle. Make a right here, and then go straight."
"YOU KNEW THE WAY THE WHOLE TIME AND DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?!?"
"You didn't ask. Lets go home."
-facepalm-
"I'm getting to dislike you." -_-
"Good, we're on the same page. Now get a move on."
-goes home-

-MEANWHILE,-
Old man, janitor: -walks around corner, looks at wall reads whats written-
"Number
One Gathered
More To Come
Reply Here"
"Rotten kids... scratching nonsense on MY walls? I don't think so..."
-pulls out stuff to fix the wall-
-A few hours later-
-wall is good as new-
"Heh. That'll teach those stupid kids to write on MY wall."

Location: Harbor
Character: Atlas Kumari
Post: Waking up, eating, swimming, and staring at the sea, Atlas was eager to see if his plan had worked. Returning to the stall at the Cafeteria, Atlas beheld that his message was removed. At first he felt nothing; had somebody be with him, they would not have noticed a change in him at all for a few minutes as he walked through the Courtyard and towards the Forest.
His aura... exploded, for lack of a better term. He could feel the normally geometrically bound spheres of influence mutate into massive tendrils of invisible rage that swept over the entire Academy. He knew that this revealed his location to the other Numbers, but he could not care. God... Damn... Them... ALL!!! Atlas planted his fist a solid inch into the nearest tree. Where is he? Where is he?! There! The tendrils shot further into the Forest, and Atlas followed. That first Numbers Duelist... I don't care if I am prepared or not! He shall pay for this ill fate!
Atlas stopped, facing the location the tendrils were point at, and roared and thunderous, heaven-splitting cry:
"NUMBER DUELIST!!!"

Location: Ra Dorm
-sleeping-
"GET UP!!!! RIGHT THIS INSTANT! WE HAVE TO GO RIGHT NOW!"
"WOAH! I'm up! I'm up! What's all the panicking for?"
"The duelist at the dock... he has returned!"
"huh? You mean the dude who stood us up at the docks? What about him?"
"He is furious, and he is on a rampage throughout the academy! We have to find shelter if we are to restrategize and counterattack and-"
"We can't let him tear apart this academy! I'm going to go face him right now."
"Are you MAD? He will tear you limb from limb! And that's if he doesn't beat you and take your Number card! ME!"
"It'll be okay. I won't let him take you without a fight."
-sighs- "You Humans... so brave, yet so stupid..."
-grabs duel disk, put in deck, runs outside-
"ready or not.. here I come..." Andrew muttered to himself as he ran out of the dorm.

-runs and meets up with him-
"Well well well, so you're the guy Knight's been hollering at me for the past 24 hours for? I admit, you look a tad... different... from what I expected."

"Well... I guess this is good-bye for now buddy..."
"I suppose it is. Farewell, remember your mission, collect Numbers. Hopefully we will meet again soon."
-sheds a tear-
"Seeya soon Knight."
"You beat me fair and square. Take good care of em." -Tosses Number 10 to him-
"We'll be meeting again. I promise you that much."

Post: "Weak! How could I have run from you!" Atlas looked at his new Number 10 and walked away from his fallen opponent. Perhaps my fortune shall once more smile on me? Atlanthal- Atlas stopped mid-step, hearing another voice in his head. So, another Number speaks? Number 10, how weak. Perhaps we should celebrate with some fun...
A small while later, Atlas emerged from the lavatory he had written his message in the day before. This time, however, he had etched his message into every inch of the entire room.

Location: Ra Dorm
After a humiliating defeat, Andrew returned to his dorm, hoping to restructure his deck to be able to take on that odd guy to in a way to get Illumiknight back...
"DARNIT!" Andrew slammed the door behind him.
"How could I lose him... I was... just powerless against those darned rituals..."
-slams fist into wall-
"I lost more than just a card today... I lost a friend. I'm going to get him back. I gotta!" -slams other fist into wall-
"I gotta..."
"... I have to find other Numbers. I'll never get Illumiknight without help."
"... But how am I going to find another Number holder? I had a difficult enough time finding one with Illumiknight, and now that my number-detector is gone, it'll be impossible to tell who is who..."

"Man... I just... I wish I had Illumiknight here, taunting me or otherwise..."
