Location: Duel Academy Roof Top
Character: Godric Bane

"I thought I would find you here, Godric." Godric had turned around, only to find Maximillion Pegasus standing behind him.

"Pegasus? What a surprise it is to see you here... alive." Godric looked worried, he knew Pegasus wasn't human by his pale skin, and his cold eyes. About 11 years ago Pegasus had been reported missing, and was never seen since... until a few months ago.

"Oh, no old friend. I'm very much alive, I've even taken back Industrial Illusions." Pegasus let out a quiet sigh.

"What brings you here, Pegasus?" Godrics expression changed from a happy smile to a look of deep worry. "I know it must have something to do with the Number cards. Correct?" Godric had noticed Pegasus wasn't wearing his eye patch, although he couldn't see much due to his long white hair covering one side of his face.

"Yes actually..." Before Pegasus was finished talking, the left pocket on his jacket started to make a very loud noise and had started to shine as bright as the sun. Pegasus reached into his pocket and grabbed the card and threw it towards the ground. Before the card touched the ground it flew right into Godrics deck holder.

I've finally arrived Godric, I'm so happy to have found you! "Did you hear that?" Godric asked.

"Of course I did, are you daft?" Pegasus screamed. "I can hardly hear a damn thing after that loud screeching!"

"Not that, the voice... I head something speak." It was me! Here I'll show you..
A couple seconds after Godric had heard the voice for the second time, a tiny dinosaur appeared.

Pegasus fainted and fell to the ground. "In all my years on this planet I have never seen anything like this before." Godric reached for the card that had just magically put itself in his deck holder. Sure enough when you looked at the card, there was a dinosaur-like shape missing from the card. "I see, so this must be the power of the number's I've heard so much about. Anyways, I'm glad we've met however, I need to take my friend to the infirmary." Godric had just realized what a terrible Idea that was, if anybody had found out that Pegasus was undead the whole world would know the existence of vampires. "Actually on second thought I think we should take him to my Dorm room. In a split second Godric thrown Pegasus onto his back and made his way to the academy's main building.

Post: 'Huh where am I?' - John thought- 'strange i were in my RA yellow dorm and suddenly...'
"I took you here." - Lokos said
"Oh my god Lokos dont show up so suddenly!" - John was surprised - "Wait you took me here? But why?"
"I dont know I just felt we need to be here..." - Lokos answered. Suddnely something dark showed up. - 'Is that dark hole?!' - John thought. Something in the hole started to shine as bright as sun. Then that thing flyed in John's deck holder. - "What the hell was that?!" - John said. He taked the card which floated in his duel disk and readed its name. - "Number 39: Utopia..."

"No way! It talks!" - John was surprised - "Oh cmon i already have Lokos who is talking to me when he wants. Now card is talking to me also!"

Location: slifer dorm inside his room
Character: mimgrim

Mimgrim is laying down on his back and eyes closed thinking, he then opens his eyes slowly and says to him self "So it has begun.". Mimgrim turns his head sideways, while still laying down, as if he is expecting something to happen. A small balck hole appears on the celling of his room and a card comes out of it, Mimgrim then sits up and walks to the card and picks it up.

The card start to glow and flies out of his hand and into his duel disk, So you've been waitng for me have you?

"Yes i have been waiting for you dark mist, and i'm assuming it has begun."

You are correct in your assumtion.

Mimgrim then walks over to hsi duel disk and puts it onto his arm, then he turns towards his deck boxes and picks them both up and clips them onto the shorts, and finally he turn towards the door and walks out.

"Did you feel that, Volcasaurus?"

Yes, two numbers just popped up, the closest is about 25 meters to your right.

"It's not like I can do anything about Pegasus, so I might as well see who it is, right?" Godric had a strange look in his eye. He knew this student would be an easy target, especially for a thousand year old vampire. "So what do I do to get the number?" Godric walked to the front door of his Dorm to grab his jacket.

You can't just take it, if your tried the number would just re-appear in his deck with the rest of his cards

"So... do I need to kill him?"

No if you did that the number would die with him. You need to beat the owner in a duel

"Sounds simple, alright let's do this!" In a puff of black smoke Godric had disappeared and re-appeared in front of a Slifer Red student. "This should be easy" Godric smiled "Young boy, I challenge you to duel, the winner takes the loser's number!"

Post: "Hmm Lokos disapeared..." - John said loudly - "Wait how the hell will i get out of here?! Im in middle of forest and only Lokos knows how he got here!"
Who is Lokos? - Utopia showed up.
"Oh my god you can do it too? Lokos is my dual personality, I think you gonna see him soon." - John answered. - "But at first we need get out of this forest!"
I can help with that. - Said Utopia. - Oh i sense something im not the only one who just appeared... And i think there is happening something intersting...
"What is..." - John hadnt chance to end that sentence because everything suddenly got white and then he was standing outside out of cateferia. - "What just happened?!"
I moved you here because you need to see something... - Answered Utopia.
"Hmm OK." - Said John and walked in cateferia. - "Yo what did i mist?" - He said because he did see 2 persons talking.

That's how I see it. Keep everything the same. When I can.

Sometimes it's out of your control. Now I can't do anything. Trapped in my own body. I hope you can hear my thoughts; I'm trying to make that so, I just can't hear yours. What happened, it was just so unexpected.

See,
I was in the cafeteria. I ordered my morning coffee to get me going. I was just taking a sip when I noticed it was all swirly for some reason. I had no idea why, but when I took a sip, I tasted paper. When i spat it out, a sodden, wet card was there. How did that get there? It looked like a dragon of some sort, but it was a card I had never seen before.
Perhaps it was like a tiny black hole in my coffee, perhaps someone had put it there and it was the raw power making it swirl. But those thoughts are with hindsight, I had no idea what it was, or how good it was.

Then, I made a mistake.

I felt compelled to put it in my duel disk by some other-worldly force. I didn't know why, but I did.
And when you get a compelling urge and see no reason why you should resist it, you comply. So I complied.

Number 17, leviathan dragon. It took my body. I need someone to defeat me now, so I may control myself once again. So I can return to my routine. So I can be free once again.

It's hiding. I bet it won't reappear for a week. When I say it, I mean my body. Controlled by leviathan dragon. It's creating its own deck. Naturally, it put itself in first. In the extra deck. Man, I don't even know how these "XYZ" things work. That card was my first experience of one. And now I can't even control myself.

Noone will get a chance to challenge it for this week. I don't even think it needs to eat or drink now. So my body will be just rotting away, wishing to complete some of its routine, knowing it will not. And when it emerges, it will have its own deck. I bet that leviathan dragon must be mowning about how I don't have certain cards, but I'm pretty sure it'll find a use for my 3 TGUs. So expensive, and yet they may change the duel for that thing. I wish I hadn't bought them.


A bit later....
It's stolen some cards of the kid in the dorm next to mine. Now I'm gonna be resonsible, if anyone finds out. Oh, what can I do? 3 wind-up zenmaines, and 3 levair the sea dragons. Those XYZs are all rank 3. Perhaps that's how this deck will work, summoning rank 3 XYZs? I can only hope that someone will beat him so I can go back to my normal life.

Location: The base of duel academy's volcano

Character(s): Judai yuki/winged kuriboh.

Post: Judai stares up at the towering volcano with a stern look on his face.

"Kuri~" a transparent Winged kuriboh appeared from judai's deck box with an anxious look on his face as if to say "I'm worried about this"

"I know buddy I feel it too..." Judai said with out turning from the volcano.

"I've felt alot of chaos on this island recently.... And i'm scared i may have brought this on... " He said looking down to the ground. "I... I promised my self i wouldn't let any one else get hurt" He clenched his fists and let out a yell " It's my responsibility to protect the ones i care about! I won't let anything happen to them even if it costs me my life!"

Suddenly A bright flash of crimson light enveloped the area.

"Ah!" Judai yelled as he covered his eyes with his arm.

When the light had faded, judai lowered his arm from his eyes to reveal that they were glowing orange and green.

"Kuri!~" A no longer transparent Winged kuriboh fearfully exclaimed.

"Huh? what's wrong Kuri-" But before judai could finish his sentence he realized why the poor puff ball was so freaked out. As judai looked down at his feet, instead of them being planted firmly on the ground where they should be, they hung floating over the bubbling,red hot volcano.

"W-What the?!" Judai stammered Half he would begin to fall, But when he didn't he calmed himself and raised his head. There in front of his eyes stood a crimson warrior surrounded by a red aura that almost resembled fire.

Judais eyes widened "Who are you!? are you the one responsible for all of this!?"

-Yuki judai.... Do not fear me. For I am not your enemy. The crimson warrior said with a thunderous voice.

You are one of many on this island that posses the unique ability to see and speak with the spirits of monsters. I am certain that you and many others of those individuals have noticed a great disturbance on this island, this chaos you feel holds a very dangerous power indeed and i fear many on this island have already succumbed to the lustful nature of this chaos.

The warrior placed his hand on his sword. You, Judai have proven yourself to be a noble and pure-hearted hero who will fight to save these lost souls. Now heed my words carefully Judai, you must defeat and cleanse all those who have been tainted by this chaos, but... at risk of your own life. I ask you, will you join me in capturing all the number cards so that both our worlds may once again live in peace?

"Of course i will, if it means protecting those i care about there's nothing i wouldn't do!" Judai passionately yelled.

Very well... The mysterious warrior said as he unsheathed his sword. Then I Number 12: crimson Shadow Armor Ninja, will lend you my strength! The crimson ninja thrusted his sword to the sky and transformed into a beam of red crimson light and flew directly towards Judai's deck box and when he hit the light enveloped the area once again.

When the light had cleared, judai found himself once again on the ground just bellow the volcano. he immediately checked his deck box and found that not only had crimson ninja appeared in there but also many new cards he had never seen before.

"Hmm... number cards huh... I don't know what they are, but i suppose I have no choice but to find out" He said as he walked of into the distant forest.

Location- Slifer red dorm
Character- Angel Santiago

About 2 days ago before the incident of the number cards i was asleep in my cozy slifer bed... I was dreaming of Yugi Moto also known as the king of games, in the dream he gave me his most precious card DarkMagician along with another card no one has ever seen it was called Junk Destroyer. He told me it was from his old friend Yusei Fudo. I suddenly herd a loud screech in my room. Under my bed i saw my box glow the one where my deck is. i opened the box, both my Junk Destroyer and Dark Magician began to glow. When i look at my Dark Magician card the pictured showed Yugi Moto and my Junk destroyer showed Yusei, but suddenly the glow faded away.I glanced up in the air until suddenly a very shiny card was floating, it came to where my deck was at and landed on the top of my deck " what is this.. and why is it here?" I thought about the scene over and over again saying to myself "was this part of my dream?"
But i went to sleep remembering the duel i will have against Jaden Yuki my best friend, we have known eachother for a long time i hope hes ok best friend.....

Location; Duel Academy Mountains

"Man, I got lost again?! Sheesh, why does all these rocks and tree's have to look alike?!"

The voice came in the echo's of the mountain area of duel academy, bouncing off the stone solid rocks and repeating the noise till it died down to silence. The stepping sounds of footsteps was heard in the ringing noise of the echos. A young boy came out from behind a medium sized rock structure, shaking his head back and forth to shake himself awake. He had a concerned look on his face, looking left to right to see his way back to duel academy, being lost in the mountains for almost five hours. Of course, it was all his fault, being the one who wanted to go "enjoy the scenery" and just dashed off in a random direction till he made his way over here on the mountain tops. He signed lightly, looking over to his right at the lake, walking over to it lightly and putting his head into the cool water to begin to drink from it. He gulped several times before pulling his soaked head out of the lake, and shaking it to dry himself off. He signed in relief as he felt refreshed now and no longer thirsty.

"Phew! I feel better! At least I got water now....hmm?"

The young boy said to himself, looking a bit closer into the lake to see a small glow forming in the center of the lake, and slowly making it's way to him. The young boy was a bit curious, as he stood their waiting for the light to make it's way to him. The light grew closer and closer, till it finally came out of the water in the shape of a glowing white card, and began to fly at the boy. Tagiru widened his eyes a bit as he grabbed held of the card, and then looked at it curiously, till the light began to fade. The card began to take form, and the number "32" appeared on it, taking the form of a XYZ monster, due to the black color of the card. "A Xyz monster?! from the lake?!" He said loudly, as the picture appeared fully now and the cards name was now revealed.

"Number 32; Marine Biting Dragon-Shark Drake? A card I never heard of...strange..."

The boy said, as he then felt a weird pulsation in his body, as he grabbed held of his arm with the card holding it, closing one eye in pain. "W-what is going on...?!" He said, as he then saw as a yellow symbol appeared on his arm with the number "32" on it, as he then widened his eyes, going deep into his own subconcious, as he then blinked a few times, and looked up to be face to face with the Number 32 monster, Shark Drake itself. He yelled a bit surprised and afraid, falling to the floor on his butt.

"W-what?! how are you...where am....how did I....i'm confused."

"Give in to Darkness, human child. Let me enter you..."

The huge monster reached out to Tagiru, who got up and looked as the monster's claw was trying to penetrate Tagiru's body. Tagiru grinted his teeth, as he grabbed hold of the claw, and stopped it. The huge beast was surprised, and could not move his hand forward. "W-what?! Human child...WHAT ARE YOU?!" He said, as he began to deteriorate in a bright light, with the images of several unknown monsters surrounding Tagiru in his subconcious. "I'm Tagiru! and I am a duelist!"

Tagiru said, as the number's card dark purple glow changed from dark purple to a light blue color, and went into Tagiru's extra deck. Tagiru then blinked for a few seconds, looking around as he was back in front of the mountain.

"Well....that happened. Guess I got a new card now....but....what is this...?"

(yeah cool :D )

Location: Outside of cateferia
Character: John/Utopia
Post: "Huh what was that?" - John thinked loud - "He just walked away like he didnt see or hear us..."
He is posessed - Answered Utopia
"Posessed? What do you mean?" - John was interested.
We number cards dont just show up and find a partner. Sometimes happens bad things also. Sometimes when new number card shows up its power is so big and it takes control over his partners body. If that happens both number and duelist doesnt know what exactly they are doing. We need to fight posessed duelists and return their minds like it was before.
"Ok this day cant get any more crazy... but how to take duelists minds back? By taking their number cards?"
You are almost right. We need to take their number cards but only by defeating them by duel.
"Oh i see... Well why then we dont duel that guy who just walked away? Damn I cant find him anymore... Well i need to go somewhere. Hmm i think i will go to those mountains..."

(sorry dex havent gotten a chance to sneak back on XD so this is kinda late to your post)

Mimgrim just blinks unsurprised as Gordic materilizes in front of him. Young? he thought to himself oh if only he knew. He stands there look into gordics eyes his face blank of any emoion trying to figure out a way to get pass him quickly.

I might be able to help you here said Dark Mist to Mimgrim I sense another number has chosen him and i know that number so I mgith be able to tell him to convince this person to go and look for soemone else to duel due to us having to be somewhere else mroe important

Well go on ahead thought Mimgrim to Dark Mist, but first confirm wether or not he's possesed or not first.

Andrew awakens to a weird swooshing noise.
-Yawns-
"What the devil is that noise... and does it have to be so loud..."
-looks into a black hole-
"HOLY C-" and the black hole vanished, leaving a stillness in the air and a card face-down.
Suddenly, a voice popped into Andrew's head- 'My name... is not spoken often..." "However, my name is Illumiknight." "I come from a distant land in search of an ally. Fate has brought me here. Pick me up, and let's get a move on.
"Well just lovely... you couldn't wait until after I woke up to start this nonsense...?"
-picks up the card-
-The card shines with a oddly bright blast of light, and the monster appears on the card image-
"You must help me by collecting cards like me. I am but one of an entire set of very special cards. We are... the Numbers."
"We will aid you in battle against those who wish to use our power for evil."
"Thats nice-" -yawns- "-but I'm going back to sleep."
"Wait what?"
-jumps back in bed, falls asleep-
"... This is going to take a while..."

Post: 'Hmm thats strange...' - John thought. He was sitting on big rock in middle of forest. - 'My life were normal when suddenly that number card showed up... Ok passed only 1 hour after i got it but still... Strange why does other people get posessed by those number cards... And also im not the only one who have one of them. Hmm id like to met somebody with other number card. And not posessed for sure.' - He stood up. - 'Hmm i think i need continue walking. I always wanted get a closer look of these mountains.'

Mimgrim smile micheviously and just says "some people that i know."

"Glad you know me so well. Aha here we are, can you tell me how close the closest human or human like being is to us?

Hmmmm the closest person to us is about 100 meters away.

"Good good," he then walks over to a tree and touches a knot ont he tree reaveling it to be hallow, he then takes off his duel disk and deck boxes and puts the inside, "I'll be back in a little bit"

And just what are you doing exactly?

"Going to go converse with the animals that reside in the forest. The best way t get information i need is to talk with the animals that see everything that goese on."

Heh to be shape shifter.

Mimgrim then closes the door to the tree and shape shifts into a birdt that is seen commonly on the island of duel academy.

"Wake up curse you! We need to start looking for Numbers NOW!"
"Five.. more... minutes... Mommie..."
-sigh- "For the love of... GET UP!"
"AUUUGH! The Answer is Spell cards-"
"Oh... it's just you. What's up?"
"Whats up?" "What's up?!?" "I've been trying to wake you up for the past hour and a half!! THAT's 'what's up'!"
"Jeez, don't need to be so crabby about it. I'm up, now what am I supposed to do if I can manage to succeed in getting all these 'Number' cards you've been ranting about?"
"That... is a good question actually... I assumed you were just an idiot like the others on this wasteland you humans call an 'Island'. In any case, I'm not entirely sure. I came here thinking that we would find out once we succeed."
"-sigh- All righty then, let's roll." -slips out of Pajamas, throws on jeans and a t-shirt with a humorous quote on it 'To err is human, to blame someone else is good management skills.'-
"About time..."
-Grabs duel disk & back pack, slams in deck, runs outside with backpack on back, heads to the main building-

I knew it. It's locked the door. My door, at leastit used to be. I can't get over my body, let alone my life. It's planning something. I know it. There's a quick, rough calandar on the door. 7 days. Something will happen in 7 days. I don't think it's coming out until then though.....

Siegfried was surrounded by the spirits of his Duel Monster cards, those belonging to the Beast type. Guldfaxe, Tanngnjostr, and Tanngrisnir grazed nearby. And just then, the number 34 flared up on his right shoulder.

"Ugh!! That feeling again...Alright, I'm okay."

He stands up and looks around. Looking at a card in black, Siegfried wonders what to do next.

"That only happens when a Number is close. I have to brace myself."

Location: DuelAcademy Docks/Woods
Character: Angel Santiago
I am sitting near the docks enjoying the cool gental breeze of the air and watching the ocean shimmer with the sun. I stared at the card i received at my dorm ( the card that was floating in the air ). I heard another loud screech, i stared at the scared witnessing a dark hole i was suddenly sucked into it. "AHHHHH!" I yelled.
i fell to the ground from the hole. I just relized i am in the DuelAcademy Woods.
my shining card i received before was talking in a deep voice. Hello young warrior my name is utopia but call me Number:39 utopia, i will help you become the best duelist, but lately there has been outbreaks of dark holes. Pegasus the creator of DuelMonsters had begun another expedition researching the secrets of ancient egypt, he found another millenium item.... "Millenium item?"I said yes a millenium item. it is a very secret item its called the Millenium Prophecy. the inscription said of powerful monsters way stronger then the Egyptian God cards had roamed the earth long ago in ancient egypt, but then powerful dark holes destroyed the the ancient civilization. so that is why i need you to stop these evil Xyz monsters. There will be other heroes who will embark on your journey. But there will be great risks are you up for the task? " I up for anything as long as i protect my good friends, but first we will need to get outa this forest. right.

Location; Duel Academy Mountains to Duel Academy Woods.

Walking back the way he came from the lack, Tagiru was a bit confused as to what in the world was going on right now. He had encountered a creature he had never seen before, and it even spoke to him in his subconcious, to try to let it inside of him, which he still felt was weird and freaky. He looked at his extra deck, and opened it up to look at Number 32-Marine Biting Dragon-Shark Drake, and did not feel the evil aura anymore from it.

"Maybe it is asleep...or is it ok now?"

He thought to himself, finally making it into the path towards Duel academy, heading back down the road to the cafeteria.

"Good, cause I'm starving!"

Location: Docks
Character: Atlas Kumari
Post: Atlas began the day as he always did: woke up at 5:30, sharp, got dressed, had some rice, swam, and stared out at the docks. It had been eleven years since he had been released from that device. The sea. The only thing Atlantis had that these drooling apes have not conquered. How ironic...
Atlas put on his D-Gazer and Duel Disk and stood up, looking at the sea. "Atlanthal." A massive humanoid being rose from the sea, part lava, part stone, part ice, towering above the docks. "Atlanthal... You and I are all that remain of Atlantis. If these Numbers can revive our great people once more..." A tear glided down Atlas's unnaturally white face, past his nose and chin, down into the boundless sea. Atlas turned and began walking back inland.
"Let's go."

Location: DA main building --> outside

-Looks at his dueling deck- "You guys have been my pals for years... Always there for me when I needya." -draws top card, Elemental HERO Sparkman-

"You being my personal favorite."

"How humorous... You talk to cards that you can't understand when they talk back, yet when I talk to you you are either asleep or you ignore me."
"Wait what?"
-Random strangers start snickering-
"Oh hush-up. I like my cards."
"What's your problem? Have you EVER talked to a card spirit before? Or is your entire species as blind as it is stupid?"
"You're not helping anything either you know."
-shrugs-

Post: Finally inland, Altas quickly climbed the academy to put his plan in motion. It's actually quite simple. A person who has claimed a Number would be in search of more Numbers, as I am, and the word "Number" would have a second, more powerful meaning. A person who has not claimed a Number would not know of the Numbers, and the word "Number" would just mean number, to them. Therefore, I shall make a declaration worded so that only those with Numbers will take heed. What simple beings...
Atlas released a large number of slips of paper from the rooftop. They gentle drifted down until they were spread over the island, as well as some of the sea. Atlas held the last one in hand and read it as he climbed down, back to the docks.

Johny was just finishing up his work when the black hole appeared.
He was so shocked that he fell off his chair and on to the ground and as he layed there a
card flew right into his extra deck on the table and disappeared when he wen't to pick it up
he read out loud Number 16 : Shock Master then he heard a voice.
"We are going to do big things my friend"
said the voice
"Man I'm loosing it I better get take a break after I'm done"
Then he put the card down and continued his work

Post: Atlanthal... Yes, I sense it. A Number... And a strong Duelist. It feels very powerful... should we challenge it? Yes, I know that the Numbers would tend to pick powerful Duelists... Rrr... For now, we flee. Power of this caliber requires more Numbers.
Retreating from the overwhelming energy emitted from inland, Atlas sealed his cards and Duel Disk in is robe and dove underwater, swimming to small hidden grove he had fashioned out of clusters of seaweed and fallen branches. His voice echoed inside of the small structure, and so did its anger.
"First, we must wait for weaker flies to come to our trap. Then...
Whoever this energy belongs to... I shall remember it. As soon as I gather more Numbers, it shall pay for this!"

"Humorous, but no. Who challenges a duelist of any caliber to a duel and leaves?
"Maybe it was a prank?"
"Doubtful. I would make the safer assumption and say that he left because he sensed us. He must have overestimated your skill to at least some degree."

Post: 'Hell yeah at least i did it!' - John thought. - 'Wow this one really is huge... How i know on this island is real volcano... It might be this one... Hey maybe there is some caves!'
"And thats all what about you can think?" - Lokos showed up. - "On this island is happenig strange things but all what you can think about is some volcanos?"
"Oh you are here. Where you were? You dissapeared when that dark hole showed up." - John was interested.
"I had things what to do... Anyway how i get it we need to fight other number cards." - Lokos said.
"Not all of them. Only those which posessed some duelists..."
