New chatbox

New chatbox is up and in testing phase. Already showed a lot of activity which means it will probably be great.

Currently its only on forum's main page but I'll see to put it on every page to look more like facebook.

Enjoy and report issues if any happen.

I wouldnt know how to do this but creating a tab in the bottom right corner similar to DN forums would be a great feature, chqtbox would be so much easier to get to

Just using a bit of brain guys lol. I coded nothing because free services like this exist lol. I wanted to but forumotion server is not accessible. For my own chat I need to access the database of this forum and store data there for chat but you know what forumotion thinks about changing their structure

Because of that I was forced to use server from another site which gives free storage and administration called bumpin. Some of you know my old DHQ site, there would be possible to do it lol but here nah, so see this as a simple widget with extra powers . Bad side of this is that I can't make forced usernames from forum but ya, at least chat options are beast

I could make it totally without sound but sometimes its usable and you can always turn it off.



Exiled could you explain a bit more that option of DN? Screen it since we all have different browsers and addons installed and what you see is not necessarily what i see there Also you need to know that DN has its own server ._. If I had that this site would be a walking robot ._.

Chat on every page and its done much simpler than forumotion suggested it, even without amzo-sama's power.

you click on "chat" it opens. you click on "chat" it closes down lol. also, when its open, in the up left corner there is an orange arrow saying "close". if thats not enough...

It is basically what you have now, just it is a smaller tab and shows the number of people active on the tab

it shows number of ppl now too lol. and well i cant do much to the size of that bar.

I dunno if it's just me, but now I can't see the chat at all :/

It screwed up when I opened other pages.

Meh for me it just shows a section saying chat, but no actual chatbox, w.e...

This chatbox is history. Used too much resources and slowed down the site. Ill open up a new topic with new things about chatbox.
