Battle Mania vs Soul Exchange

Can i activate Soul Exchange the turn my opponent activates Battle Mania, do the tribute and skip the battle phase?

Yes. Your monsters are unable to conduct the Battle Phase, meaning they are unable to attack, so play resolves as normal.

aka, Battle Mania only makes your monsters attack if possible. If it is not possible to attack for a reason like you cannot conduct your Battle Phase then you will still not be able to attack.
