grand mole eff

ok guys, this is weird situation =\
he attacked with sapphire dragon and he returned it to his hand
he said because he has grand mole and the eff works.
but it works only if grand mole attacks or is attacked

so, who's right?

If so, that is entirely wrong and is just an example of a noob playing by his own rules. Grand Mole's effect clearly states on the card that it can only be used when Grand Mole attacks or is selected as an attack target. The only monsters that can be returned to the hand via Grand Mole's effect are Grand Mole itself and the monster it was battling.
