Start hosting tournaments

Like the title suggests, please start hosting Yugioh tournaments on a regular basis. Bringing back the old tournament schedule system would do just fine. Where are the events and stuff? I want to duel!

I remember asking for regular tournaments weekly but nigga where they at.

We are planning on bringing it back by next month.

Welp, you know by making me staff I can try and bring them back on a regular basis  

Nah kidding, for me there should be an event schedule that is followed. Diffrent staff will be in charge of diffeent events to keep everything clean and running.

its kinda easy to talk but i have benn hosting tournaments for the past month and neither of you been of much help to smooth them down

@pepchoninga you still have a duel with evil_master to do and he is pretty active and so are you why it hasnt happened?

I don't know dude, I asked him out when I saw him in chat eyesterday, but he got idle and after that I watched some TV...

Will try to get the duel done today if posible.

Also, tournament have been smooth, don't know what's been going wrong lol

@Drunkion you know how much I wanted to play Past Format Tournament. Unfortunately a format I don't like got chosen. Btw kudos to you for hosting them. There is plenty of staffers and I don't see why would tournaments not get hosted frequently.

It's not that 'we stopped hosting tournaments' we simply saw that we should take a step back and hold down our horses before we host some more. Need I remind you that people needed time to adjust to DN being shut down and switching to an alternative dueling platform.

Just wait and see, you will see some tournaments here n there on da when u open ur eyes again

Its easy to say start hosting tournaments. But it doesn't matter if they get hosted or not, if you start going experimental like the Edison format tournament did, you won't get participants for quite a bit. But that did start so...

Actually the Edison tournament is rather enjoyable. 

Only thing is that when people don't know the format they are gonna play they are more sceptical about joining.

Just host TCG normal tournaments weekly.

Success Guide:

STEP 1: Promote YGOpro Percy.. like in the top of the home page.. make a unique guide about how easy it is to get it
and have fun again online..

STEP 2: SCHEDULED Events are the key for this academy to be reborned, @Anzo pep is right!!
(with dorm rank up prizes etc), you need to get people motivated again!! use your imagination...

STEP 3: Advertise STEP 2!

STEP 4: We can all have fun with dozens of active members

if you guyz dont do anything DA will die pretty soon like the rest of academies..

I have no idea what you are talking about. There was large number of tournaments hosted last month but no one played them so we gave up (again) on tournament schedule system. There is 'RA4EVA vs Slifer/Obelisk' event going on. Duelist Kingdom will start soon. Then we will host another event one after it. 

Don't panic when there is no reason to, we staffers are doing our best in keeping the forum fresh and entertaining.

I think that we cannot do much about that. It's not like we don't offer things, we do.

Imo we are doing pretty fine, the current tournies were always full and the events went strong. Hope duelist kingdom will be fun as well. As for members, really we have at least 3 new members everyday, but they magically disappear after they sign up for a tourney. Makes you think if they are spam bots sometimes

They are doing pretty good Panic. 

Even tho I belive in scheduled event, people can't really bare that, since people take it more chill these days. The competitive scene is there up, tho it's really not as. Big as it probably has been back in 2014. I myself would prefer to duel for events and more fun stuff then constant tournaments.
