Samurai Sword Baron

his effect says that he can change the a defense postition of 1 monster my opponet control does that include face down monster and if it does include face down monsters would its flip effect activate?

If "Samurai Sword Baron" changes a Flip Effect Monster to face-up Attack Position, then the monster's Flip Effect activates.^[1]


Means yes you can, Since flip effect monsters needs to be face down and
fliped face-up in order to activate their effects.

so the effect would be activated?
