Excalibur and Extra Sword.

So basically XYZ summon with 2 Extra Sword as materials.
The Excalibur's atk will be 4000.
If I detach 2 materials will the atk be 8000 or still 4000 because the original of Excalibur is 2000?

Heroic Champion Excalibur's effect changes the ATK to double it's original ATK after activation.

Meaning no matter how much you alter it's ATK beforehand with other effects, it's attack is set to double it's original attack.
So basically if you use double Extra Sword to increase it's ATK to 4000 and then use Excalibur's effect, it's ATK would still be 4000 and I believe it's attack would return to 2000 at the opponent's End Phase.

And lots of people still think that they can create a creature with 8000atk.

The key word is "becomes".

And noobs will be noobs.
They still can't get over the fact that you can't negate with MST.

You can create an Excalibur with 8000 though because I've done it. Get Excalibur out then use his ability then use Heroic Chance. But I don't think you can do that with Extra Sword.

I mean Excalibur with 8000atk only with 2 Extra Sword.

Due to the wording of Excalibur in the fact that it doubles its ORIGINAL attack, it's attack can only become 4000, unless it's original ATK was increased somehow, Like Megamorph.
