Well then offer something more than shitty deck ideas, shitty tournaments, and shitty events. Or maybe some real prices for the big events, they dont have to be too expensive. maybe like a funko pop or a steam gift or something.

How about do some interviews... and i don't mean interview other shitty DA members. Interview like someone that topped in YCS. someone that works at konami. I think this place has like 15k members. Use that to get some interviews. Yeah only like 1% actually come here, but the person you interview doesnt need to know that.

eh what ever. just my opinion.

I actully really like your ideas.

But cash prizes would require donations / sponsors because DA doesn't make any money. As for the interviews unless you already know somebody who somebody where the hell would you find said people?

really upset i have to type this again... but here we go... if 5 staff members donate 5 dollars then that covers the price and shipping of a funko pop. I'm pretty sure yall spend more a week on fast food and other trash. BTW they have this thing called google ads... use them.... that's easy money. just make sure put someone you trust in control of the money.

Interviews are so easy and free its not even funny. Use social media... everyone is on it, and most people in the yugioh world aren't huge celebrities, so they wont ignore you. I went to yugioh-card.com found the name of a YCS winner from last year and looked him up on facebook, and found him. I could easily just sent him a message asking him for an interview. While i was on yugioh-card.com i found a list of YCS regionals happening soon. And i saw that there is one happening in Los Angeles on Sept 19th. Also on the list they have contact email and phone number of the people hosting the regional in that area. Since its in LA, you can believe that its going to be a big event, so you can call or email the hosts and ask them for an interview. and just ask them questions like "What is it like to host a YCS" and "How do you prepare for something like this". its really not that hard to get an interview... you just have to put forth effort. and TBH finding that info took me less than 20 minutes.

I mean, I had Sehabi on Facebook until I believe he deleted it *yes, the 2014 Worlds winner*. I would have otherwise tried to do an interview with him or something lol

A little unknown fact Anzo did actully discuss about a cash prize before in the staff section before but failed to gain any donations simpley because pepole don't have the money to donate because of going through college etc. I have a few ideas i will give to Anzo.

Also I will look into the website you posted and see what I can find and take it from there, Thanks for the link.

This place is good as it is. There is no need to aim high and no need to reach the bottom either. As long as people are enjoying their time here and little chit chats here and there then DA is serving its purpose. If you want bigger communities then I'd recommend DNF and DGZ.

Offering real cash for prizes is a double-edge sword: once you start you can't stop, because once you stop you close down.

If someone is looking for an interview of some YCS winner then other websites already got that one covered. You can find interviews on Youtube of all major events winners - why read when you can watch?

Just my thought.
