t’s a completely original story.
There will be an announcement about the movie at Jump Festa 2015 (December 21,22)


So Yeah babes, YUGI will star it. a Grown YUGI. No Atem. No Millennium Puzzle. Just the YUGI who gaved Jaden the Winged Kuriboh.

Well Arc-v is not stupid, you forget yugioh is for children. anyways the story is getting more complicated and "serious" so just wait :3

Actually, we can.  The first episodes of GX also sucked.  A ton. 
The rule changes were good, except maybe the field one, which I don't know the purpose of.
Pendulums are just a bad design choice, I'll give you that.  Monsters that can resummon themselves after they are destroyed over and over for no cost is a stupid idea.  If they couldn't come back they would be fine.

GX was probs the best IMO, Zexal sucks though. Arc-V is actually pretty damn good, though.

Let's not use archetypes as an argument.

What I'm saying is how modern YGO affects the game itself. Back then, we had normal Archetypes and Konami didn't really cared about making shit load of money like they do now. Just take a look around. Pendulms? Broken Stuff? Yup...
It all led us to rule changing and killing the game we love and know. What you guys started to mention is going in a direction of a personal taste...

The original series was fun but it's an anime, it doesn't need to have a series of logical events to be cool. Take Arc-V for example, they follow the game rules and use 'logic' in their duels, but, like for real, the guy's best-friend-card is a hippo? It's not even cute, It's not even fluffy like Kuriboh!

I like all the series. Every one was special for some reason.

The last decent one was GX, others weren't as good.

5d's was better than gx. lel

You didn't though.  You could, but heck, Akiza doesn't use one until near the end of the series if I recall correctly.
Plus it doesn't really change the rules any.

Zexal was apparently widely accepted as bad, so sure.

If you watch Arc-V without being nostalgic at the same time, you'll enjoy it.  Probably.

Motorbike was optional and was cool to have Speed World and Speed Spells. You cannot say otherwise.

It's the idea that I didn't like. It's like you're running away from your opponent while your opponent has to chase you. Yea, the idea of Speed Spells wasn't a bad thing but still I didn't like how it was implemented.

In my perspective duels needs to be held on a solid ground while both players confronting each other's faces and not their back. Then they go all out.

I don't say i "hate" 5Ds or the other series, but I simply don't like them that much. I still prefer the older series.
