Hello, Numbertech.
I believe you misunderstood our objective. The tournaments which we host are online tournaments. They're not real life events. You can use Dueling Network or Dev/YGOPro to participate in these events. They're both a solid dueling system. You could Google them If you'd like.
Also, you can earn Duel Points by playing in a match/single games with members of our community for Battle Arena, Shadow Arena, or any other event that offers Duel Points. If you don't know what Battle Arena or Shadow Arena are, they're simple: They're two forums/events in our forum/website where you keep a record for your wins and loses against members of our community in what we'd call "Duel Academy's League", Rankings are held here: http://www.duelacademy.net/h1-rankings
After winning or losing a game/challenge with/to one of our members, you then make a topic in these sections:
Battle Arena: http://www.duelacademy.net/f21-battle-arena
Shadow Arena: http://www.duelacademy.net/f22-shadow-arena
Then a Moderator/Staff will update the rankings with your score. You get a fixed amount of Duel Points when you win or lose a game in BA or SA (shortcuts for Battle Arena and Shadow Arena).
You can ask people in chat to play you for "BA Challenge" or "SA Challenge". Note, that if you choose SA Challenge then you need to wage some of your Duel Points (max 50%) if you lose you lose your Duel Points, if you win you win the opponent's.
If there is anything you don't understand feel free to ask again.
