I have been in since early beta, so yes I am aware that it's a F2P. But you can buy packs, then if you want to, disenchant and make good decks with the dust. It's a pay to win game, but it's bloody expensive if you do pay.

If you're good at the game, you can get enough gold from arenas and keep getting packs and stuff that way.

Hearthstone is not pay to win. There isnt anything in the game you can get by paying that you cant get for free. Of course people who pay are going to get more card packs than F2P players, thats only fair. I havent spent a single dollar on Hearthstone, and I have pretty good decks, and have got four legendaries: Golden Cairne Bloodhoof (Disenchanted) Old Murk Eye, The Beast, and Ysera, all of which i got from card packs w/o spending money (except Old Murk Eye, he is reward card) so i dont see how hearthstone is pay to win.

Also, there's a streamer who made a new account, and streamed himself going from rank 25 to legendary in just 5 days without spending a single dollar, and he has the entire process on youtube, from the tutorial, his pack opening, crafting, all the way to him reaching Legendary rank. All in just 5 days. Hearthstone clearly isnt pay to win, it's skill to win.

If you want to talk about expensive: yugioh cards cost over 100 dollars.
