Crystal Release

Well in my return I've finally seems to come to a ruling I cannot figure out myself while testing my forth deck.

The ruling is simple.

If crystal release is equipped to a crystal beast that is used in an XYZ when exactly does it go to the grave. Before or after the XYZ summon. Secondly if it goes before does its effect of placing a crystal beast into the spell and trap zone still happen?

After and yes. That's my guesses.

It will be removed from the field after the summon, and will activate as usual during the window for responding to a summon, allowing you to place a Crystal Beast in your s/t zone.
