Stardust vs Zenmaines.

Let's say Zenmaines activates its effect to detach 1 mat and blah blah...Will Stardust negate in the End Phase and destroy Zenmaines and Zenmaines detach the last mat?

Stardust Attacks Zen, Zen dataches. At EP Zen tries to pop, Stardust negate, Zen detaches again, Stardust comes back. No pop for Zen.

You are right, since Zen can only activate his destroying effect once per turn.
