The effects don't match the subject.

Either need to make the effects more.. realistic, or make the subject an animated cicada.

The effects are good, but the cicada should be something like an animated picture instead of a real cicada. It would make it look a lot better.

Why does it need to be animated?

It would make it look a lot better, unless you can make more realistic looking effects.

Don't overlap your render with so many effects.

I didnt do anything to the render other than increase contrast.

He means you shouldn't put effects over the render like those two massive lines.

How else will I make it look the render is part of the background if I dont put C4DS in front of it? =S

Find a better render, resize the thing and put in better effects..
