Emergency Mid Format Ban?

I'm sure that this has been mentioned, but I didn't see a topic for it.



This card is broken, to the point that it people are saying it'll make the deck an instant teir 0, and I can see it happening.

So i'm thinking, do you think we'll get a mid format ban to balance this deck.

Does it need an Emergency ban? Yes.

Will Konami do it? Probably not.

The most I can see is a limiting of it by the end of next format. :/

Possibly. We'll have to wait and see just what type of impact it makes.

I can see people complaining about Mermail and Fire Fist, being good, but they're a group of cards that are good, when you have one card that takes a deck from teir 2(?) to teir 0, is a little much

Fire Kings are not broke. They are too easy to counter. And Yaksha and Kamaitachi aren't tcg.

I can see the problem but if I'm really honest, Divine Judgment isn't really the card we should be worrying about. All it does is give pluses and special summon a monster, more often or not being Justice which banishes itself.

The real problem is the mass card removal Prophecies have. Priestess being one and the one card that's the bane of most decks and the key to your loss: Spellbook of Fate.

Seriously, I've even seen some decks without this card in it. Are you stupid? This sh*t is broken. Divine Judgement fills your grave, you recycle your crap with Eternity and every single turn you get a pop and a banish. Every. Single. Turn. Say goodbye to Stardust because that thing won't help. Think Shi En will stop it? You're forgetting Highpriestess and the amount of crap that can run over that baby.

While they recycle their stuff, you'll be left with a grave full of your popped traps and a RFP full of your banished monsters.

Yes, Divine Judgment gives them + like no tomorrow but the same can be said for Gateway. Fate is the real killer card we should be worrying about here.

Anyway, Fire Fists aren't broken either. They are far too reliant on continuous Spells and Traps, and easy to side against, with cards like Forbidden Lance, Fairy Wind, Overworked, and Spell Shattering Arrow.

Fire fist aren't all too broken... in prophecy all you need to do is main decree and village. Fire fists are fairly balanced... I see no reason to complain. Also, I see that Konami has gone back to releasing spell oriented engines... does anyone else think six sams might come back?

Smoke Signal is at 3.

In the right hands, this deck doesn't even need an Extra Deck or a Side Deck, because basically whatever you have, it ill be able to beat any hinderance in its way.

An Emergency Ban hasn't been issued oftenly, but if this card happens to be our Cyber Stein v2.0, then this card needs to be gone; even limiting this card to 1 is not an option due to the unbelievable amount of sh*t Prophecies can search with.

All my elemental dragons need to do is OTK them before they can do sh*t.

It's not in TCG so I don't care
