As for the sig, I just don't think the render blends with the background and the flow is mediocre. Text needs some work too.

I said other then the text! I rushed threw the text XD i was deciding more on where to put the text then how it looked. i was told the corners are bad and having it so much out of sight is bad as well. Also drawing to much attention to the text is bad so this was just a test. As for the render not blending it :> Still looks good doesnt it? As for the flow i know i need to work on that more

I saw something on the internet somewhere and it got stuck in my head ever since.

It was basically a sig with 4 lines on it. 2 vertical and 2 horizontal. Like a Naughts and Crosses game. Tells you where to put your text with those lines.

Ok so.. here's what I've tried to save :


And here's how text is usually placed, oh and the render placement is wrong. Never place it in the center, place it on the 2 thirds of the canvas. You split the canvas in 3 (imaginary) and place it in 2 of those.

The text is "most of the time" (it depends how your focal is placed) placed close to the intersection of those lines. You can create those guides by adding 33% then 66% vertically and exibit A horizontally.

I talk from experience of knowing that what I make is bad, I really don't think you can compare this to the three GFXers in the topic title


The Render placement is bad the flow doesnt match at all the text



I still say the one before [dude with the gun] is better.


And Aluuu does know what he is talking about


Btw I meant dude with the gun as one of the ones you showed us a while back

I like yours alu but it looked like you added to many effects that took my eye off the render

sometimes you want alot of effects, your render just stands out way too much lol

Ok, not alot, but at least some to make stuff seem to blend

I hate when the effects draw more attention then the render

well let it draw some attention away, make people look at the whole sig, i mean when pusei makes his i cant help but at all the pretty lights e.e

hmmmm lets see ok

the 1st one is poor on resources, it looks like you just put the background, anput some type of light c4d and you can barley see the red c4d in front of the soldier and made light effects around the body that looks like poor quality. the only thing that i like is the Text and the soldier.

the 2nd is good

its funny because thats exactly what i did xD and it look nice while staring at it so i was like OKAY IM DONE lol and @ pk you suck at gfxing so stop kid just stop xD
