The fact that you run so many counter traps and only four cards that benefit from this disturbs me. The fact that you're DCK also disturbs me, considering that any monster field presence you have will make you go negative if he's on the field.

Not many good cards that can abuse the counter traps tho =/. Thunder King and my other stun monsters appreciate the control the traps give.

As much as I love Counter Fairies (my favorite decktype of all time) I have not been able to find a place for them in this format. They work better in slower formats where you don't have to worry about getting OTK'd every single turn by Wind-Ups / Inzekts / Mermails / Heroes. Additionally, they work better in formats where many decks have similar weaknesses (like relying heavily on graveyard or monster effects). However, in this format there are many popular decks and most do not share the same weaknesses, which means almost an auto-loss for CF until you can reach into the side in game 2, and that is a pretty heavy disadvantage imo.

Vandy only gets run in 3 during formats where it's safe to run 3 copies of Divine Wrath, so I recommend only using 1 or 2 this format. A CF deck needs to concentrate on finding ways to improve speed and searchability or else it dies quickly and painfully. Reaching into the deck to nab Artemis is of EXTREME importance, and has never been particularly easy to do.

So yeah, I've played around with them a lot and have not found a variation that I felt really worked in a competitive way for this format.
