gladiator beasts

can i activate the effect of gladiator beasts when i attack or when i am attacked or in both cases ?

of course u can...its it obvious ??? lol...

so i can activate it when i attack ?
because someone argued with me that i cant
so please i want someone to give me a link from netrep or yugiwikia cuz my opponent is really sure of himself that GB effect cant be activated except if GB is attacked only

yes it is written but he my opponent is explaining the rule as he likes saying that:
if this card attacked=means that he attack me WTF ?? (I am the one whi is using GB)

only attacks (with s not ed ) : means that i attack him (like i have never studied english in my life )

so thats why i want a link from a ruling site explianing the ruling of GB

There is no ruling when the answer is obvious on the card text. when this card attacks or is attacked literally means if you attack with the card or if your opponent attacks the card. That's all there is to it. It's very simple. This is how many times now that you've been believing retarded noob opponents who make up their own rules? Sometimes you just need to use your common sense on these things.
