In my Blackwings, i find Upstart goblin to be amazing, and I actually run 2-3. consider:
-1 sirrocco
-1 chaos sorcerer
-1 cards for black feathers
-1 or 2 MST (since you run 3 Icarus Attack, you should have very little problem with back row.)

+1 upstart
+1 Kalut
+1 pot (If you decide to run only 1 MST)

Also, I find 2 Vayu works great, as otherwise I don't have enough Shura targets

Dude, you should never run Upstart in Blackwings (not even 1, the deck is very fast and thins out a lot, if you're finding you need more drawpower there is something seriosuly wrong). And Vayu should only be ran at one. And Mystical Space Typhoon should be ran at 2 or 3.

If your having a problem with Shura targets, you use Vayu first, then Gale if you don't draw him, then Kalut. Simple as that.

Summoning Kalut with Shura effect and then bouncing him with Zephyros, then going for a Rank 4 is always satisfying.

I'll suggest what I always do. The monster lineup for blackwings, must, absolutely MUST be as follows. Bora, Shura and Blizzard at 3, Kalut at 2, Gale, Sirocco, Zephyros, and Vayu at 1. Period. Take all the other blackwings out. This is a must for any blackwing deck. Take it from me, I've played blackwings for I don't even know how long anymore.

Here is a basic blackwing skeleton, its my old deck, i used it prior to the September format, don't worry, I've adjusted it to fit the current format, and reworked it as a basic BW skeleton, and if a win record of 16-2 on DN means anything, it still works just as amazing as it always did.

Countering that, I also find that Vayu at two is pretty good.

Then again, Vayu Turbo is the Blackwing deck I've been testing for a while now, so it might just be me.

Probably just you, Vayu Turbo is a different build. Me as a regular Blackwing veteran, I find that Vayu at 1 is fine, and makes room for other essential cards.
