LightSworn deck help

this is a deck i randomly threw together i saw it had potential so i think it needs help in the main deck deck and extra

I never really played lightsworns, I was more blackwings but I would say take out aurkus and put in another jain or lyla? I don't know like I said I don't know them very well.

ok thank you for your suggestion, ill keep it in mind until this thread is locked so i can finallise the improvement's stated by others.

Try keeping it either pure Lightsworns or pure Twilight, 5 random DARKs and a BLS don't make a deck Twilight ;O;

Try more Necro Gardna. Take full advantage of the fact that he's now untouched, since he's a huge help to the Lightsworn Archetype. Other than that, not really sure what else you can improve with. Try more Wulf, those guys seem to help, and you can discard them with spells and traps, then bring them back with Lumina if you draw them. Kinda cloggy at 3, but pretty good at 2

do i need to add spells and traps like mirror force heavy storm and mst?

In my Lightsworn build I only run 1 trap and that's treacherous trap hole.

You can also add lightray monsters also.

which lightray daedalus is the way to go if you wanna add lightray

You can main daedalus but side in others to find which one you prefer the most.

Lightray Diabolos is MUCH better than Daedalus.

My lightsworns are more based around lightrays with a lightsworn support. Daedalus is an amazing side card for going against field spell decks.

I like to tech in fiend comedian. It's pretty good in LS because you either mill a load of cards or banish your opponent's entire graveyard.

If you're thinking about a light and dark lightsworn deck; you should try a zombie lightsworn deck. I never ran one but I hear that they can be pretty powerful. If not, then try to makes pure lightsworn deck. Just be careful of milling decks if you do.

Plus, I'm not sure how much Pot of Duality will do any good sense you can't special summon your lightsworn monsters at the end phase.

Also, add more traps

Wrong.

The turn player may choose for Pot of Duality's condition to wear off before Lightsworn's mandatory effects trigger.

But that's just a minor correction :S

i have a pot of duality incase i dont anything i can use. should i keep my black luster soldier?

If you're running a Lightsworn\Zombie deck or twilight, yes. (In my opinion at least) But remember that you will always have the risk of milling Black Luster.

yea that's a bit of a problem but monster reincarnation will handle that

And you have a risk of milling that. Just remember that any type of lights worn is risky, but with cards to grab or summon from the graveyard can be VERY useful and will have many options.
