If I have Aurkus on the field (effect states that lightsworns cannot be targeted by spells, traps, or monster effects), does that mean I cannot equip cards like Lightsworn Sabre and Glorious Illusions?

That is correct. Aurkus prevents even the player that controls him from targeting LS monsters. Along with not being able to use Equip Spells on them, it also means Lumina's effect cannot be activated, since she targets a LS in the graveyard.

Aurkus prevents LS from anywhere from being targeted; equip Spell Cards permanently target cards; Glorious Illusion and Lumina target cards in grave.
