Marsh and Spirit Reap.

Hey guyz. I made a tourney for Slifers but I'm not sure if marshmallon and spirit reaper are stall cards. Can you tell me if they are?

Well, actually, for me, there are no "stalling cards", but there are "Stalling Strategies".

Like using Messenger of Peace of Gravity Bind until you get the right cards.
OR
Using Masked Dragon to stall for a few turns until you get the right card.
Or Marshmallon + Glasses to stall and summon 2 monsters without letting them get destroyed to summon LaDD...

That's from my perspective.

stall cards = cards that stop your from attacking and monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle.

Cards that stop you from attacking examples:
Level Limit Area B
Gravity Bind
Messenger of Peace
Swords of Revealing Light

Monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle examples:
Spirit Reaper
Marshmallon
Arcana Force 0 - The Fool
Gellenduo

All of these are considered stall cards as they lock your opponent's ability to attack in most situations, thus allowing you to stall and making the game take longer.

I think that it should most definitely be O.K. to tech those cards. Stall decks are one thing, but if an opponent cannot get past those cards, it is their fault during the deckbuilding phase. They are limited for a reason.

Agreed with Mako. Yes they are stall cards, but if they are the only ones and not used in any other way except played then there is no reason to ban them inless you just want no stalling what-so-ever. The outlook on that is simple....

Being used alone does nothing to the length of the duels...
