Duel Arena's [WOTN]

I've decided to make things a little easier on all of us and divide the main RP into threads. Each location has it's own thread and anytime you RP you will need to pick a location to post it in.
This is the Duel Academy Duel Arena.

"Now that I'm here... I need some sleep." Kureiji muttered to himself.
*Walks over to a corner and falls asleep*
...Hopeless... He better be ready when the time comes to duel for a number...

Dane: Is there even anyone here?
Black Corn: There has to be. I sense a Number.
Dane: Look over there, in that corner.
Black Corn walks over to the sleeping Kureiji and kicks him.
Black Corn: Hey! Get up!
Dane: That was rude.
Black Corn: Really? Doesn't seem so bad by the usual standards of you humans. Whoever blew up the cafeteria was a lot ruder.
Dane: That's... That's... Never mind.

I materialize out of the fake black hole I created, which malfunctioned.

"So, you have seen the cafeteria? Leviathan dragon did that. I am free of his shackles now, and a lot stronger, but I need a number. A duel? I have a contract to fulfil, and I need to win 3 games in a row to get myself a number. You want an incentive to duel? If I lose 3 games in a row, I die."

"It is as you thought. Literally. I can read minds. When Leviathan Dragon went away, and stopped possessing me, he took my emotions, feeling, even pain, away from me. Without those things, I can think of anything in my mind, it is unclouded. If you do not understand what I meant by a 'contract', I contacted the Devil. I tricked him. I defeated him. But I don't care about anything, and that is why. I am just a shell, no soul. He can't take my soul if I don't have one, he can't cause me physical pain if I don't feel it. That is what gives me my power. But I would bet anything that my old leviathan dragon is feeling an intense amount of pain."

(There's no way he could know the thing about mind-reading, because that was out-of-character. My character wasn't even thinking that.)

(There's no way he could know the thing about mind-reading, because that was out-of-character. My character wasn't even thinking that.)

(OK then. If that's out of character, then how was I supposed to reply? Your character would be thinking exactly the same thing as you there. You're just being picky.)
Everyone benefits from my death, if you don't want to die yourself. My aim, when I have all of the numbers, is to destroy everything. Just kill it. The universe. Nothing, not even me left alive. Power corrupts, everyone reverts to evil in the end. Those with power will naturally abuse it. There is darkness in all our hearts. Except for mine, which contains no light either. And then, when the universe has been destroyed, maybe, from nothing, something will happen, and a new universe shall appear. That is my goal, at the moment; to end everything, in hope of a new universe, with no good or evil. No opposite forces. Because it won't just be the world that dies; I will kill good and evil, God and the Devil, whatever you want to call them. If they die, there will be no influence. Just neutrality."

(Even if it makes sense my character would be thinking that, it's still influencing my character to decide it's so. It doesn't really matter though. When people are explicitly insulting each other out of character, that's a good sign it's getting too hostile. Let's just get back to roleplaying. We can argue about whether your use of mind-reading is allowed in the discussion. Dane's a guy by the way.)

Black Corn: You're not making a very good case for yourself. Why would anyone want to help someone get a Number who intends to end the world after collecting the Numbers? For now I refuse to duel you, but if you manage to get a winning streak of two games, I will challenge you and end it!

(Parentheses when used in RPGs generaly dictate an out of character
comment. Not even a Broken Mind Reader, can have access to that. Isetrh
is also right, desideing what another character thinks is a clear
infringement of privacy.)

The one possessing him is, Black Corn. Other than that I am unsure. There is another Presence. But it's hiding itself rather well. I oppologise.

"Nothing to gain from taking a life? To be completely honest, I don't think I really class as alive anymore."
To illustrate my point, I pick up some kind of ceremonial sword which is on display, as it would, seeing as this is a duel arena, and stab myself through the chest, before continuing to walk around.

"Do you see now? There is only one way you are going to get rid of me, and once I get a number it is too late. I will be too powerful for you to beat. Once I get 1 number, I will not rest until I have the rest, and the world is destroyed. Then again, I will not rest anyway. I don't hve to sleep."

I remove the sword, and heal the wound. I have no personal reason for doing this, just it might scare people away. People who I can duel. I take the sword. Perhaps someone will want it. If someone wants something, then quite likely I will be able to exploit that.

"And yes, I know you are a number Corn. Since my wings are out there is no point in denying that I am a Manakete. Lastly, you know as well as I, that you have no intent of making friends. Simply doing two things. One, To get people to lower their guard so you can stab them in the back. And Two, To not make an enemy of one who could defeat you. I have lived longer than you, I can see your words don't match you. By the way, who is hiding in your soul? Did you welcome the other in Black Corn?

*Ryan jumps off of Leviathan smashing through a window and landing on the ground in the Arena.* "Well," he said, "That hurt more than I expected. Well....hey it's that possessed guy I defeated! Are you better yet? Your Leviathan acted weird for a while but when I got my second Leviathan he cleared him out of whatever it was. Now he's just a plain old number again."
