Wind-up rat and limit Reverse

okay i was looking around and came up with a idea thing is i do not know if it works
(do not think it works but making sure)

So i play limit reverse on Wind-up rat if i use Wind-up rat's effect will it work
and then limit reverse gets rid of it or will limit reverse just get rid of it?

Rat is destroyed, but it does receive its effect.

The better question is, with Call of the Haunted at 3 and Monster Reborn at 1, why would you ever need to play Limit Reverse?

Xyz summoning you need a extra monster limit call and monster

7 cards to bring from grave.....may change come new list
